(Making a thread solely because I got a bunch of pings in the chat asking how to endorse the idea, so now there's a place for it. Also because it's funny.)

Do you ever wish your beetles could hit harder, smash stronger, and take hits like the Hercules they're supposedly named for? What about BATTLE GEAR FOR BEETLES? Nothing major, just silly little items such as Large Twig, Flat Pebble, or Empty Nut Shell. If making battle-compatible functionality is too difficult, there could just be 1-2 decor "slots" that add transparent overlays on the existing beetle art. Most of them wouldn't even require individual changes be made to the art by species. Just have a rock next to them or a stick leaning against your chosen warrior. Sort of a default customizing option that may encourage people into actually using beetle skins.

This also opens up the very real possibility of silly event decor items, like a leaf hat for your beetle and possibly tiny fashion shows, but that's dangerous discussion and I will not tread there. Few may come out of such a fancy encounter and live as they did before, now being made horribly aware of just how unfashionable they are by comparison. I may or may not add pics to this post depending on how far I plan to take it.
