Supernatural Insurgency

It's 2052. Five years ago, humanity as a whole realized that unexplainable creatures were in fact real. From demonic entities to vampires, all of them have existed since at the very least the middle ages...

The United States of North America does not like that. If the legends are true, these strange creatures were a definite threat to the human race. People at first wanted to coexist, but as people were abducted and killed, the people wishing to coexist became a minority.

It's been a year since supernatural entities were completely outlawed in the USNA. It was considered a life sentence to be anything but human, and hiding was the only form of safety from imprisonment

Until the creatures decided to fight. They rose up, under the banner of the Paranormal Liberation Front, also known as the PLF. Fighting relentlessly, they managed to take the state of Maine as their own. Now known as the Independent State of Maine, they fend off attacks from the USNA. What they don't have in numbers, they more than make up for in unpredictability, tenacity, and sheer power.

It's been six months since the conflict started. Lives are rapidly lost on both sides as the USNA does battle with the PLF, trying to find a solid strategy to deal with this new, unpredictable enemy.
