Noob-Friendly Guide to Getting Rich

Hi there I'm Buzz and I just wanted to give back to the community by writing a guide on how I at least make money on Lioden. Before you start reading this you better put those lionesses out on a hunt and get a submale on patrol. Btw this guide wont have pictures for the sake of me not knowing how to code very well yet. I will update it later on with pictures.

Step 1: Overhunt

If you utilize hunting to its max you can grind a few hundred SB just hunting daily. Set up multiple hunting parties and target water sources. 4-5 lionesses on almost exclusively waterholes tends to drop big valuable prey. Though snake quests can get in your way so some days you may have less prey pull.
You can hunt up to 48 times a day (and patrol 24 times) if you're a sleepless monster. Hunts last 30 minutes and patrols last an hour. If you can get in 10-20 hunts a day you're doing great.

Step 2: Toy Time

Explore is your best friend. I mean this literally. You use it for quests. You use it to claim lions. You use it to find food and amusement items. From my experience higher level places drop more loot. Just going through explore you may find items without doing anything. Some things you have to learn which button to press does what. (Like when you see a warthog charging your way if you click smash you get a warthog carcass.)
Submale patrols can find toys, food, or decor. Do remember they can come back empty handed.

Step 3: Be Stingy

Don't fill your lions all the way up. Don't raise their moods all the way either.
Your lions won't run if you have their hunger down to 49% and their mood to 51% (I personally don't like to sit right on 50%.)
Exceptions are of course in heat lions as you can't breed them unless their mood is at 80% or more.
Don't forget to utilize your free action. (If you don't know what I mean by that, if you click on a lion in your pride you will see a dropdown menu that says play. The first 3 options are play, tussle, and groom then it will show your amusement items. Those first 3 options are free once a day per lion and restore 8-18% I believe. In some cases that alone will keep your lions from running.

Step 4: Sell Sell Sell

Sell your excess food and toys. Once all your lions are cared for you can live without these items as you'll be able to get more at any time.
If you want fast turn around sell your items at Monkey Business.
If you want more SB per item you can sell through the Trading Center. Just remember to watch the sales trends (search "Food" in the basic tab of the TC) so you know what amounts people are willing to pay for what. If you overcharge you wont sell anything.
Remember you can also sell decors, crafting materials, and everything else at the Trading Center. Not everything can be sold at Monkey Business.

Step 5: Go Play Some Games!

While you're waiting on your lions to get back from hunting and patrols why do you check out the games tab.
Cups:You can play cups every hour for a chance to win 1 of 10 prizes. It does cost 5 SB but if you do win your prize should be either 30 SB or an item usually worth more than 5 SB.
Silver Beetle Raffle: For 10 SB daily you can enter for a chance to win 1000 SB. 3 players can win this prize.
Baoball: Baoball doesn't directly give you money but in the long run more skill points help you in lots of ways and even if you lose you still get skill points.
Serengeti Shuffle: Now to my favorite Lioden game; Serengeti Shuffle. Once a day you can send your score for a prize. Don't waste your one send on a score under 2500 points. The best prizes are won at 3500+ points as you'll have a 1/7 chance of earning 400 SB. (The SB prize is pretty common for me.) But the other prizes are also worth a pretty good amount of SB if you sell them through the Trading Center.
Liomemo: Uh its Liomemo. Heres a snippet from the wiki. At current, there are no rewards for playing Liomemo, and you may submit your score as many times as you like over the course of a day. However, earning a score of 4500 in one game will unlock the "Boomslang" skin and "Shrublands" level for the Reptile Roundup game.
Whack a Snake: Personally I don't think this game is worth the struggle if you actually want a prize. It might just be buggy for me. You have to score 100+ for a chance to win 10 SB or 200+ for 25 SB. However there are some other pretty neat prizes if you do enjoy Whack a Snake.
Slot Machine: You and I both know that if you're losing more SB than you're winning on Slots you might have a gambling problem. You get 5 spins an hour, they cost 50 SB each. I don't know the actual amounts for the SB prizes but the Slot Machine page does have a chart for what matches are worth what. I usually play until I win once or twice but if you have an unlucky streak its not worth pouring your Beetles in.
Lioden Trivia: Answer some questions, earn some beetles, and learn more about Lioden and African Wildlife.
Reptile Roundup: It's snake. This particular game wants you to earn a certain amount of points before you can earn prizes. I really recommend just reading the Reptile Roundup Wiki Article.

Step 6: Event Item Sales

As you probably know Lioden has monthly, month-long events. You can earn event exclusive items which can sell for good money through the Trading Center. (Remember to follow sales trends.) You may be tempted to sell your event items during the event if you see a good price. Try not to. Save your event items for selling later on as their value goes up the harder it gets to get them.

Step 7: Unwanted Cubs

Lets say you had some cubs that you don't want. Throw those babies up for sale for a couple days labeled as fodder or cheap cubs. Sell em for like 20-100 SB each. If you AMP check them you might want to sell em at least 60 SB so you get the check fee back. You can also gamble on them not having AMPs if you just wanna throw em up quick and cheap. Everyone really just handles cubs their own way once they get used to the game.

Step 8: Save

Stop buying lions if you don't have the funds to spare. Stop buying lions you don't actually want. Stop buying anything you don't need or genuinely want. SB goes farther if you save up.

For now this is the end of my Guide to Richness.
