appearance: pallas is a small & muscular lion, appearing much younger than he is due to both his size and his stunted mane. his fur is dark with a paler underbelly and spotted markings. he has patches of white all over his pelt, similar to a piebald lion, and has mis-matched eyes because of it - one is black and the other is blue.
personality: pallas is a very confident and charming guy. he believes strongly in his pride and abilities, and thinks they're the absolute best. he's arrogant to a fault, and is quick to fight, even if he's not all that skilled and only has one good move. he's good at charming others, and is very skilled at convincing lionesses to join his pride, partially for his rare spotted coat.

backstory: pallas joined wormwood as an adolescent. the old king, mysterio, saw promise in the young male, and supported him endlessly - this only fueled pallas's ego (not that mysterio minded it). pallas was kinged at a young age, and mysterio briefly served alongside him before passing away due to old age. pallas is now the pride's sole king and reigns alongside his queen bingo.

Name: Sab, but will go by any nickname you give him

Species: Primal Smilus

Gender: Male

Age: Canonically 6 years, he's older ingame

Appearance: A huge, stocky smilus. Fully black and white, with a stubby tail and huge jaws. His eyes are iridescent and catch the light. Has a long, black length of fur on his chin, like a beard.

Backstory: Sab was adopted alongside a felis into a pride run by a savage primal who had just killed the pride's founder. The primal raised the two of them to become heirs as he twisted the pride into an exclusive sect rather than a family. When Sab protested the killing of non-mutated cubs as an adolescent, he was run out to the outskirts of the territory, where he bided his time as his adopted brother became king. His only form of communication between him and his old pride came in the form of an abused leopon that became his best friend. Finally, when the king was stricken with illness one night, Sab reluctantly helped the process along and took his position - the death of his old friend, the pon, made this all the harder. Now, he's alone and struggling to keep it together.

Personality: Sab is a newly-appointed king, and not a great one. Though he's well-meaning, most of the pride remembers the cutthroat ways of his predecessors, and so he can't quite seem to command respect. His laidback, amicable manner is a stark contrast to what they know - like the pride's first ever king did, Sab takes in wanderers and stragglers and treats them like family, which the older pridemembers resent. Sab is usually jovial and a big presence; when he's alone, though, he can often be found brooding. Behind his chatty exterior is an inquisitive mind, and a need to be liked.

Trivia:

* Sab has a bad habit of ignoring his problems, leading to his affinity for the iboga plant, which keeps him cheerfully placid.

* He is being challenged by a younger ferus in his pride for his title as king, which he's defending desperately.
