You pat the buckskin gelding's neck, while he slows to a stop, swinging your right leg over the all-purpose saddle as you dismount, leading him to a stall where you start to wash him down, laughing as he nudges your pocket for a peppermint, leaving a wet snout shaped mark on your jacket. A young girl raced up to you, giving you a letter before panting out of breath, "Lila you cant run in front of horses, you could spook them" you say, handing her a small bottle of water, unclipping the lead rope to let the gelding trot outside to the pasture, opening the letter; Dear (your name), After careful consideration, you have been accepted into Ivy Hollow Academy. Your track records for academics have been exceptional, and from the records of your performance's in riding has been amazing. We would be honored to train you here, where many of the greatest have trained. As I am sure you know, you will need a tack+ equipment box with the proper equipment, two saddles(one for training, and the other for shows), a helmet, and the proper riding outfits. You will also need supplies for normal classes, which will be sent in an email to you. Enjoy your summer, Eleanor Brooks, Headmistress of Ivy Hollow Academy As the realization of getting accepted finally reaches your mind, you nearly squeal in excitement, realizing what this means for you, quickly speed walking to your (parent's) car, turning the engine home to start packing. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- There are 2 different schools, the high school; Ages 13-18 (you can only start at 16), and college; Ages, 18-22. The schools do English Riding, and Western riding. There are teams for advanced horse riding, and there will be competitions and normal classes. The entire campus is like its own little town with its own cafe's and stuff. It is in upstate New York, and takes international students --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Rules: I will not tolerate homophobia, racism, or transphobia etc. (If this is part of character developement, just put it in your post with a warning) This is realistic, so no blue horses or fanstastical colors, the only blue would be a blue roan horse Please try to write at least two lines, with proper grammar Have fun ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Roles: Headmistress: Eleanor Brooks (Open to play as) Hunter Jumper teacher: Open Eventing Teacher: Open Stable hands: Open Normal class teachers: Open Students:Moon, Serafina-Leilani Kekoa, Via Hunter, Angelica Burns,Vica,Lilly McGee Horses: MidKnight, Dream of the Stars, Dior's Expense, Lotus over the River,Old Boy Sherman, Asia Miller, Morning Star ---------------------------------- Dorm 1, room 1: Via Hunter and Serafina-Leilani,Lilly McGee Dorm 1, room 2: Moon and Angelica Burns Dorm 1, room 3: Vica,Kairo Miller Character SheetsView and Post Character Sheets0 players like this post! Baroque Friesian- The Baroque type is what commonly comes to mind when people think of a Friesian. A strong bone structure through the legs covered in ample body mass to cover those bones. Baroque build usually appears to have shorter leg length to body height ratio and appear to have a longer body length in comparison to height, they were once used for warhorses Sport Friesian-While the Friesian Sporthorse is athletic and muscular, individuals are sometimes built more baroque in appearance compared to other sporthorses. Similar to other baroque breeds, Friesians have strong, muscular hindquarters, thick necks, and full manes and tails. Cross-bred to different sport-horses Modern Friesian-Though the breed nearly became extinct on more than one occasion, the modern day Friesian horse is growing in numbers and popularity, used both in harness and under saddle. Most recently, the breed is being introduced to the field of dressage. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Yes, I think you'd be looking for the Baroque one if you're doing English riding, but not show jumping or cross country, so probably just dressage 0 players like this post! Like? |

(It would be possible, however as most students only need one horse (to build the bond of trust even more), it is rare. But it is allowed to bring a small dog or cat to the stables, as a lot of show horses have their personal animal buddy to calm them down (the pictures are adorable), but they have to be nothing too big) 0 players like this post!
