Hey :D You may call me Svalbard, and I'm a 27 year old girl from Norway. I have been RPing for the past 15-ish years on various different platforms, although nowadays I almost exclusively use Discord servers. Due to me being an adult myself I would prefer if my future RP partners were adults as well (sorry kiddos :c). I work full-time (7am-4pm Monday to Friday) and live in Central European (CET), which means I'm 8 hours ahead of Lioden time; It is not going to be an issue for me if you're on a different timezone or anything, but it means I might not always be on at the same time as you. If you're interested in RPing with me after reading this, please PM me with a sample and a quick summary of your past experiences and preferences, as well as your Discord tag <3 Preferences: Please be advised that these are my preferences, and is only meant to be indicative of the type of character I will be writing - This does not mean you can't write whatever type of character you want. 1) Lit/Semi-lit only please. I typically write 2-3 paragraphs per reply and I would like my partners to match the content/quality. 2) MxF, or MxM. I tend to struggle with anything else; I can play both male and female characters interchangeably. 3) Adult characters in the age range of 20-35; I will not write children or young teens, or ferals. 4) OOC talk! :D Please talk to me ooc while we RP. Talk to me about anything, brainstorm with me, show me things, plan the RP with me, you name it <3 5) Romance, Slow Burns, Supernatural, Apocalypse and Historical - all genres and topics I enjoy (often combined) a lot 6) Please try to find photographs of people to use as references, instead of anime drawings or dollmakers. I tend to use actors and actresses myself, to better represent my characters looks, and I find it helps having a real face to look at when trying to describe scenes. 7) Please be understanding and willing to work with me <3 I will of course grant you the same courtesy. If you're no longer interested in the RP or wish to change anything, just talk to me. I understand that sometimes the spark fizzles out, and I won't hold it against you c:. 8) I only RP in discord, and for the time being I'm not budging on this. Plots: I'm more than willing to listen to your plot ideas if you have any, or we can discuss some of mine. I currently have ideas for the following topics, so if any of them catch your eyes just holler and we can discuss them further: Mutants on the run: for this I have one rather extensive plot idea that I would love to do. I have a female character for this and is intended to be an MxF slowburn romance Zombie apocalypse where the outbreak started less than two weeks ago; I have a sort of slow-burn angsty rp idea for this for either mxf Exes to lovers: Really really wanting to do this one to, for which I need a female mid-to-late twenties character (I have a male character for this) Sixth/Seventh year at Hogwarts: I need a female character for this - I have a Slytherin boy for this plot. Your character has just transferred to Hogwarts from another school and one of their parents is a new professor. Slow burn/romance/angsty deliciousness Something Virgin River-esque: I have a female character for this and in need of a male one. My girl has recently left her whole life behind after a terrible breakup and is looking to start fresh someplace completely new. She settles on a small rural town in the middle of bumfuck nowhere where your guys lives. That does sound interesting o: Could you send me a PM with more info about the plot, as well as more info about you? What sort of genres you like/prefer, preferences for pairing (mxm mxf etc), as well as a writing example to show your writing style and average length? ^-^ 0 players like this post! Like? |

Not sure if this is still open - been stalking for a new rp partner - but I am very interested! I have been role-playing for over 10 years, advanced literate of all themes. I can do most any plot or character so long as my writing partner is engaged, pushes the narrative, and doesn't just write to respond (if that makes sense!) I usually rp as male but I've been dying to use one of my female characters, so the last two plots really interest me! Writing example: The salt sea sprayed over the edge of the ship, slapping against the wooden hull splintered and chipped from years of smashing into enemy docks, sandy shorelines, and dealing with the damage of arrows intended to sink it to Hel's grave below the surface. The totem was a proud dragon-like beast, head curled and tongue out, a carved snarl upon its lips and glowing coals in the eye sockets to dimly light their way. The sail had several repaired holes, but the banner of the great dragon Fafnir still beat proudly in the wind. This ship had always been loyal to him, having carried him from his home to more distant shores than there were Gods. But today was his last ride upon her, for this stop was to be his final. At only his twenty sixth year, Einar had become a man of near legend. He was famously known as "Wolf Born", one of the only known living men of his kind. He was an Úlfhéðnar, a ferocious form of berserker blessed by Odin himself. He possessed the soul and fighting nature of a wolf - more so than people knew. He threw himself into raids and wars with little to no armor, a shield with wolfish teeth marks all over it, and a bearded axe that was rusted with the blood of an innumerable amount of slain enemies. He had fought under King Harold's army, used with the berserkers as shock troops which was the key to their victory. That was where the rumors begun, some of the surviving warriors swearing to Tyr that they had seen Einar transform into a wolf, as if Fenrir himself split free from the flesh of man upon Midgard. Most of those who heard didn't believe those stories - the adrenaline of war could cause powerful hallucinations after all. After the wars, Einar thought he had left Norway for good, returning to his home clan in Denmark. Yet it was only a fortnight after his return home that he recieved a message attached to a raven from a Jarl in Norway. Jarl Ragnar of Eynafylki had called for the Wolf Born by name, requesting that he come and stay as a hired guardian for his family. Einar would have been stupid to refuse, taking the offer of a home and land of his own in exchange for the services he lived to provide. He said his farewells to his family and sailed once more. He blinked from his memories as the ship finally docked, hitting lightly against the wooden platform. His amber eyes scanned over the tribe - it was far larger than his own back in Denmark and people were already gathering to stare at the stranger's arrival. He turned and stepped off the prow when the crew slammed down the planks, off loading his horse to hand to a stablehand that took the stallion away. A man stood beside him, another raider he had named Byrd. "Norway... Bit of a shit hole isn't it?" he laughed, his voice cracked with the damage of an almost torn out windpipe from a dispute with a Pict tribe several moons back. "It's a mirror of home, but the mountains are more than I've ever seen," Einar said and looked up at the towering cliffs and jagged rock that dared touch the borders of Asgard. 0 players like this post!
