Ok this would be a non-lethal mutation that if a male had it it would take up more energy to explore as a king or take more Energy to spar and in females hunting would be less successful and a higher chance of their children having the same mutation also both would have to eat more to compensate the lost energy and cubs will have a lower chance of being effective at cub training.
