Hello! If you have no idea what you are doing and what everybody’s talking about then you’ve come to the right place!
This is just a thread for basic help.


Ncl’s (newly claimed lionesses these are the ones you claim in explore)

For beginning the game ncl’s are good because you can breed them and later sell them or chase them.
First, you need more territory save up those silver beetles by selling to monkey business or selling in the trading center.

You need this territory for better lionesses.

The average stats for ALL of you lionesses should be at around 100 - 200
This is why I will occasionally give the lionesses I can’t keep to some of my newer friends. It frees up territory for me and helps them advance!


Males: the only thing male lions are good for is the occasional patrol item and/or being an heir.
You HAVE to have a proper heir in your hands because if you don’t it will just reroll your lion and trust me THATS NOT what you want when you have gotten far enough in the game to retire your king.
Subordinate males are quite hard to manage not in terms of having too many but in terms of them doing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. The only reason I keep my subordinate is because he has more than 1000 stats I’m selling my other sub so check it out!

Dirty lions: I am not sure how to identify but from what I have seen from my time here dirty lions are lions with either a really long line of heritage or a lion that’s been inbred I feel like it’s the first suggestion some people really care about clean and dirty lions even though it has no in game effect, it could be because some studders* don’t breed to lions with their heritage.

Studders* male kings that breed to your lionesses that are in heat for a price.
Reverse breeding when a king breeds to your female and gets the cubs again- with a price. Why would I want to do that? - because if you want lions with better stats or perhaps just a passable mutation then breed to a lion with high stats and/ or mutations that are passable for more info on muties go to faq and their should be a section on them.


Hunting- why should I hunt?- because you need food to feed your pride members the food you find while alone in explore probably won’t be enough and if you have some teen gals then send up to two at a time. Why should I send the teens hunting? Because you want them to have better stats and get a full cub training bar. You can start training cubs when they are 5-11 months old at the cub training area. If you train a cub to full exp then you get an achievement.

Gb (gold beetles) I currently have none and I don’t need any at the moment.

Gold beetles are useful if you want to snatch things off the trading center quickly or just retire your king early. And gold beetles also can buy you special items from the oasis.

Breeding items. Breeding items usually cost gold beetles but in some specific events you can buy those breeding items for that currency in that specific event.

For example: the may event the champion shop: you can buy a lion scrotum from their (mind the name) it gives a 25 % chance of your lioness passing down her or your mutation. Buffalo scrotum- guarantees at least three cubs in your next litter black stallion- your lioness will get pregnant on her next breeding (does not apply to infertile ones) grain of paradise- guarantees at least 2 cubs in the next litter.
