be the broodmother. it wasn’t an official decision i made or anything, she just sort of fit right into it, it felt natural to me when taking in her looks and personality that she seems like a ruler.

my girl is Delta, she was one of Rasalas' (my King) first lionesses, all of the first ladies are named for stars in the Leo constellation (Delta, Zeta, even Rasalas himself! the Leonis name is from the Latin name for the constellation, like Alpha Leonis and such) and the one who gave birth to my heir, Blue. I just thought Delta was such a pretty lion

My current king doesn't have a "queen" but I've had some in the past. The first couple weren't super stunning lionesses' but were designated "queen" for story purposes.

My most recent queen was Egeria. She was chosen for looks purposes, and I considered her my queen because I decided one of her cubs would be my next heir.

I only just recently started a story line of sorts, Delta isn't even my "first" lioness, she's just one of the earliest ones I have, up until recently I gave all unrelated lionesses the title Lady in their name, Delta only just became Queen like a few days ago

I kind of did the same thing, Delta got bumped to queen status because her cub Blue is my chosen heir

Ah, I see, that's cool :) For me it wasn't actually that I chose a specific cub of hers as heir and then she became queen, but when I got her as a chased, I decided that I wanted my next heir to be one of her cubs.

Thanks!! I originally was going to name Rasalas 'Leo' but since it was taken I did research into the Leo constellation and the brightest star in the system is Rasalas, (Delta is actually larger and hotter than the sun) and the idea of naming the ladies after each star came after than ;3

Aw, those queens are so pretty!

Eglantine looks amazing with the scarab necklace, and I love how the chaos scales look on her. I love the stripe markings, she looks so regal. Like a queen should!

Delta Leonis has a sunny royalty to her. She also looks great with that necklace, and definitely looks like a queen with her headpiece. It's amazing how decor can change what some might consider a plain lioness into a stunning beauty.

Egaria looks like a wild beast to me. Not in a bad way. She looks like she came from Where the Wild Things Are, and I love the many animals surrounding her. She looks more feral than the others, like a different type of queen.

Leilani is just stunning. I love dark rosettes with piebald. Normally the good pose isn't my favorite, but she looks really great with it. I also really like that you added a personality for her!

My girl is the queen because she was the first good lioness I got. I was actually going to sell her, but I felt that she fit really well with my old king and so they became husband and wife. When he died, I thought of getting rid of her, but now I'm attached. She's still pretty much the queen, but isn't romantically involved with the king. She's also ugly as heck. Here she is.
