short writing example:
A large piebald King trots along the beaten path, his muscled shoulders taunt with every stride. The paw steps of generations before him were set into the dirt, their history preserved. The king held his head high with pride as he moved, the wind made his mane wild and majestic looking... up until a young cub jumped from the bushes straight onto his face. The king reeled backward with a mighty growl, his paws enveloped the cub's body in one scoop.
"Gotcha!" he roared
"No fair! Hades you cheated," the cub mewed angrily swishing its tail in dismay.
"now young one, is that the way a future king should behave when he's challenged? I know I adopted a fierce prince not, a pouty cub." Hades dropped into a low stalk position. His ear pricked forward as his tail flicked from side to side.

The cub turned back hissing, the very little tuft of future mane puffed up. Hades playfully swatted at the cub laughing in delight when the cub latched on to his mane.

"Oh, Mighty prince please spare me!" he feigned defeat and plopped over into the dirt. He sat up and shook, in one swift move the cub flew from his mane and landed in a bush.
