So basically I decided tonight I would try coding, and now all my text is orange and my background is white on my den page.

Can someone tell me where I'm going wrong?

My goal would be to eventually make my own CSS for the clan I'm making, but I'm not sure if I'm even equipped to make one that looks nice. Any ideas where I could get a good CSS if this doesn't work out?
