to make a clickable link, you use this code without the * and the brackets - <*a href="(link here)">(text you want to be clickable here)<*/a>
To make an image clickable, where you would usually place the TEXT (not link), you need to place an image code.
The image code is this, again without the * and the brackets - <*img src="(image url here)">
So to make a clickable image, it would look something like this, again remove the * - <*a href=""><*img src=""><*/a>
Here is a finished example, with my player icon and linking to my king.

To get a url for a page, either be on the page you want and copy it from your browser

OR, right click (if on a computer, if you are on a phone/tablet, hold down on the link) the link you want to copy, and a menu should come up. From this menu, select "copy link address"


To get an image URL, the image first needs to be uploaded to somewhere that can host an image. I typically use discord. Other options are imgur, drop box, one drive, tumblr, ect.
Once it's uploaded, you'll once again want to right click/hold down the image, and copy image address/url
