Short question mostly for clarification about chatboxes in caves/mounds.

So in trying to edit the chatbox through CSS, I noticed it kept defaulting on the lion cave and beetle mound pages. I also noticed that your main den page has 2 sheets for your CSS - one can be modified in real-time for pretty much everything BUT the chat box and the other is the opposite.

Caves and mounds don't have this second sheet.

Is this why the chatbox keeps defaulting? Am I missing something, or is it just not possible to change the chatbox in caves/mounds due to this?

Thanks! <3

2 sheets for CSS? Could you perhaps elaborate on this part?

I've done my fair share of testing with chatbox CSS in caves and mounds. The chatbox uses the CSS of the Layout Theme that you have implemented in your den page, and that overrides the style tags you have in your external stylesheet. There doesn't seem to be a workaround for this (from what I have personally seen). 😔

Yep, that's exactly why I'm thinking it isn't working; the 2 sheets, I mean. Just looking for confirmation on that.

Your den page has 2 sheets if you use inspect element for live updates as you work on CSS. One of them controls the chatbox you can recolor and the other does everything else. You have a separate few lines you can put in to edit the chatbox to be whatever you wish, as they don't default to your den page's style unless you want them to. They lay on top of each other but do not combine/merge, which is why the mound/caves/branches don't have a chatbox style, as far as I can tell.
