The pride was started when Raemald l was chased away from his own, as many males were before him. He settled next to a large waterhole, the soon to be pride being hidden in the jungle. His lovely queen, Rosanne, was part of a jungle tribe of lionesses, and they soon fell in love and created their pride. Their eldest son and daughter, Raemald ll and Dusty, grew up together and were very close. So close that they both left when their father banished his son for his wrong doings. They created their own pride, neither ever taking a mate, letting other kings grow their pride for them.
The two prides fought for decades, until the leaders passed and two friends claimed their prides as the heirs to the thrones.
