Chased ladies. Heard of em? No? Chased are particularly beautiful NCLs, many get excited about them when found. Others sell them for extra sb, but.....why? What's the difference? Well get your popcorn kiddos because you're about to learn.

What is a Chased?

A Chased is the term for an NCL that once belonged to another player, but is now an Explore NCL. They were bred or raised by someone on Lioden, but released. These are MUCH cooler than your average NCL and can be worth more......but why?

Chased NCLs can have special markings or bases that normal NCLs can't. They are also clean*, like any NCL, which—paired with certain bases—can make them incredibly valuable.

So how do I identify a Chased?

Chased will show up like any other NCL in explore, claimed the same way. They won't state they are Chased, so you gotta use your eyes. Chased can be identified by several different factors—

Base
This is trickier to tell, because bases are usually hidden under markings, but some can have a very distinctly different base....and if they do you definitely want them, as distinct bases tend to be combos or applicator ones. Take note of what bases regular NCLs have (including NCL Exclusive Special Bases, which do not necessarily signal a Chased). While Chased can have any base, looking for the cooler and rarer ones is a pretty solid tell.

Markings
NCL have a set list of markings they can potentially have, but Chased? Anything goes. Look for really bright colors and odd patterns, layered ones too. Chased can have anywhere from 0-20 markings (up to 10 visible) while NCLs can't have more than 3 markings. This is the near easiest and most common way to tell.

Personality
This one is more selective. Chased can have any personality, but NCLs can't. Anything that has a Good or Evil pose/personality is a Chased, not an NCL.

How do I find a Chased?
That's one part Impression, two parts luck. Once you hit Very Impressive or higher, you can find Chased ladies in Explore.....if you're lucky. They are a rare find and depend on players actually chasing a female. Spam explore and always check a girl out before claiming or passing to have better odds. Chased ladies can be found in ANY explore biome, and at any level so long as Impression is high enough.

How do I Chase girls?
Scroll down to the bottom of a FULL GROWN LIONESS' page and it should have the option to chase. Please note that it's 50/50 if she goes to explore.....or is just deleted. And you won't learn which unless you just happen to find her again. Chasing a mutated female will TOTALLY WIPE HER MUTATION, you can NEVER get a Mut in explore. Any cubs, males or adols chased will be deleted.

Why would people chase such pretty or rare lions? 0o0
Room.....cleanliness.....excitement.....kindness.....there's tons of reasons! Some like to spice up explore for other players. Others to clean their dirty* lioness' heritage. Or just to get rid of an unwanted lioness without spending energy on karma deletion or time on selling.

Aaaaaand thats about it! Go forth and get your Chased ladies! ^-^

*Clean and Dirty refer to a Lion's full heritage. If there is ever any sign of inbreeding, they are dirty. If there is never a single sign all the way back, its Clean. Anything found in Explore is automatically clean because they have no heritage, as all parents and ancestors are listed as "Unknown".
