Hello all!

So, I love working with my 3 dogs, I have a mixed breed (french bulldog x lab) and 2 chihuahuas so I am thinking about starting to train others dogs as it is something I enjoy doing, and I have the time on my hands to do it. It's honestly something I'm also debating doing as a career.

I'm still working out an idea for pricing but it won't be much since I would just be starting out but overtime will increase, what exactly they want their pup to know or be worked on with will also reflect the price. Though, I'm not sure how I would exactly price this.

I know I would need to come up with things such as a waiver/agreement to both protect myself and potential clients. I will be working on a website with more detailed and organized information if I decide to go through with this potential idea and work out some things.

These are the list of commands that I've worked on with them that my 3 dogs know:

Mixed breed-

Sit
Paw
Down
Spin
Stay
Leave it - Leave or get away from something/someone or stop barking at whatever she's barking at
Heel - She goes between my legs and sits down
Wait & go during feeding time as well as for treats
Here/Come
Hug - When I kneel down and say hug and tap my shoulders she hops on them with her two front legs and gives me a "hug"
Kiss - She touches my nose with her like an "eskimo kiss"
Touch - She will touch my hand before giving her a treat
Sit pretty/pretty - Sits on her back legs and sits up, self explanatory in a way haha
Off - To get off of someone or furniture

And we are working on rollover currently!

SO with all of that, I am need some advice/help!!!

My questions:

What should I start my pricing at ?

Should I charge per hour?

How should I price the specific training they're wanting?

For example should I do a "basic" training deal where I just teach them sit, down, wait & go, come/here and then different ones where I get more in depth/advanced tricks/training?

What kind of rules/terms should I set/put on the waiver/agreement?


Name ideas for my little dog training business?

Any other advice or ideas/help you have for me?
