So, as you may or may not know, I am a composer of classical music. And I made it to my most significant milestone yet this last winter. Not only am I comfortable with writing short pieces for orchestra now, but I even feel ready to write a symphony. This has been something I’ve been planning for since I started composing my own music, so as you can probably imagine, this is really exciting for me.

But, that’s not the only exciting thing related to my symphony. I’ve told my friends in a group I’m in about my symphony, so they know about it too. This group I’m in has weekly voice chats and monthly reunions. The people in said group told me during one of the reunions to contact them and send them my symphony when I’m finished with it so that they can get an orchestra to play it.

I’ve never gotten any of my pieces performed because I’ve never been able to navigate through that maze, so to get any of my pieces performed, let alone a symphony is very exciting for me. I want to take my time with it, as I want to make sure it’s of my best quality. And also because I have a bunch of other things going on. But yeah, to hear my own symphony live a few years down the line(as I figure it will probably take me that long to write it), that would be amazing.
