Howdy !
There are a few things actually I hope this makes sense hahahaw
1) What should I really be spending my beetles on ? I feel like I’ve been absolutely blowing them and I definitely don’t wanna waste them.
2) I see people talking about like. Good and desirable lions. Is there really desirable traits or is it sort of left to personal taste ?
3) I know this game has a trade center. How do people price things ?
4) Should I be spending all my energy on adventuring ?
5) Why does everyone want crunchy worms so bad ? Should I get a bunch of them ?

I’m sorry this is long HAHAHAHW

Oh, and

How do my baby beetles become real beetles ? What do I feed them ? It says they can die but they won’t eat any of my food.

1) Honestly, spend it on whatever you want! Whatever your goals are, put your currency towards achieving those goals. :) Some good things to invest in are a new king and lions that can pass their mutation such as piebald.
2) It's mostly left to personal taste, but there are certain markings that are more popular than others! Raffle marks, which can usually be identified by being shown as tier 2 in the wardrobe, and rosettes are fairly popular. People also seem to really like colorbombs! Colorbombs are just colourful lions. <3
3) People usually price things compared to other players! If there is nothing like what you're selling on the market then it's up to you to set what it's worth is. If it sells super quickly it's probably underpriced, if it doesn't sell it may be overpriced. When this happens pricing things can be a little trial and error, but usually you won't find yourself in this situation.
4) Yep! Energy can only be used for breeding and exploring. The main use of it is exploring.
5) They are used to give a lioness a chance to clone her exact appearance! This can be useful for lionesses with many desirable and or expensive markings. They sell for a lot later in the year so I suggest getting as many as you can. <3
6) Larva will grow into adult beetles at 11 days old. You can feed them herbs such as water root, aloe leaves, imphepho, etc.
<3

Thank you so much !! This actually answered a LOT hahahaw. I’m glad I found this chatter page(? Is that what it’s called LOL) because that was so helpful.
I kept messing up yesterday and decided to finally find somewhere to ask questions. Before the rollover I kept getting a message on the lines of I needed more space for lions so I spent SO many beetles on territory space before I figured out I needed a MALE SPACE. So I sent my boy I wanted to keep to a friend before the rollover but it turns out they didn’t have space EITHER so he got lost during the rollover HAHAHW. They had to claim him back and buy a male space for themselves so I had a friend spend like 700 beetles on this one little lion I bought for like 50 beetles BUT he’s rainbow and I might make him me heir .

That’s a really long text BUT ANOTHER question. Can I throw away my male Lion early ? He’s so ugly and I want him gone but I’m not sure if that’s a good idea.

Yes! You can early retire your king for 10 gold beetles, or 25 if you have retired your previous king within the last 30 days.

OKAY I got you, no worries about it being long
1) So there isn't really a definitive answer here, but when I was new I got a bunch of NCLs and spent my money on colorful studs and bred them. Yes, most of the cubs wont be that great, but sometimes there will pop out a colorbomb or a special base that you can sell or keep for future breedings. There are also some cheap lions on the TC that are good looking and great for newer players (at least when I was new. The more you play you sort of start to view pretty lions as mediocre, which is kind of a shame) You could always just save them for when you want to buy something, instead of spending as you get them

2) This one is a tad bit complicated, and IM still learning all the details here so buckle in. This is VERY largely personal preference, and, from my experience, there is not a single lion SOMEONE wont buy. As a new player, the lions you breed probably wont get much love from more experienced people, even if you find them pretty (again, we stop seeing them as such when we've seen much better), so unfortunately selling will be somewhat of a struggle. Bright colors and variety tend to sell well, so it might be better to aim for those. Now onto the more technical bit. The current craze seems to be with breed-only (BO) markings and bases, rosettes, and low heritages. There's a TON of rosette markings in the game, and they show up randomly on your lion regardless if the parents have it, so if you get one that's a guaranteed minimum of 1GB. Special bases are obtained through applicators and lots of luck, but from what I've seen they only sell if its pretty or colorful.

Low heritages are a bit complex and technical, so if you want to know more on how to get those I'll write it up in a different message. One last thing here, you'll see people mentioning "clean" and "dirty" lions. This basically refers to the inbreeding your lions heritage has, clean being NO inbreeding, and dirty meaning it has ANY inbreeding. There is no in-game effect if your lion has been inbred, but sadly there are so many people who will only deal with EXCLUSIVELY clean lions. I personally view this as a sort of herd mentality, and I don't care about a lions heritage

3) Theres no easy answer to this one. Pricing changes ALOT, but a common way to figure out a price is to search on TC for a similar lion and base your prices on that. If you want to sell an item, its the same method.

4) YES! If you want money, then absolutely. This event focuses on fighting, so if you fight a rabid animal and win you'll get Blood Beetles. After you get 300 BBs, you can buy a crunchy worm from the Manticore shop and sell it for an easy 20GB. If you hoard these and wait a few months, the price will skyrocket and you can make up to 50-60GB off of ONE.

5) Crunchy worms are a breeding item. As you play the game more, you'll notice how lucky you need to be just to get a decent looking cub, and breeding items help tremendously in getting better ones. Crunchy worms, when applied, will give the litter a %25 chance of inheriting the mothers ENTIRE looks. This is more of a late-game player item, so I don't think you'll need to use these anytime soon. (Your choice of course).

Phew! Hope you didn't fall asleep on me, sorry for the big wall of text haha
