Nothing is more frustrating when you've completed 90% of your dream project, but the eyes fail. Or, the eyes you did breed, no longer fit with the dream you now hold, and you're too far in to change the eyes without losing progress. I suggest either re-making the Random Eye Applicator itself or re-naming it and introducing a different item to work like the following ==================================================================== * I think the Random Eye applicator should work as it's named- I understand that it can't be exactly like the RMA's we have due to the sheer size of markings compared to the eyes we have. However I don't think REA's shouldn't be limited as they are now, I think they should include BO eyes, but mock them up to mimic the rosette rolls. (.1% chance) * If not change the app itself, why not make an event app?- Events like July, or December which happen to be our heaviest months for bases and special breeding, why not include an app in within those months to work as proper random eye apps that re limited to seasons? * If changing the app, can also increase the price of each app to limit the rolls?- Because there's a lower number of eyes compared to markings, perhaps increasing the price of the changed app will help continue keeping the eyes special. (Example: from 1gb to 10gb?) ==================================================================== I'm more than happy to hear people's thoughts about this, it's something I would LOVE to see, as someone who's got their dream stud, and forever king, but is still RMA'ing them, and limited to lackluster BO eyes. I can't clone my king to re-breed better eyes on them, and it sucks. I think this would offer a unique opportunity to improve what's already there, without having to lose everything to restart. Notes: - Eyes are already split up into groups on the Wiki, the app will copy RMA stats, and modify for a smaller pool 46.8% Basic 46.8% Common 40.1% Applicator 5% Special 0.8% NCL exclusive 0.5% Event special 0.1% Breed only (excluding Combo) If you vote No, please tell me why? |

I like the idea of REA’s actually becoming useful, and I think the first idea would be the most balanced one. That said, I think the price of it should be bumped up a bit in that case, considering how much smaller the eye color pool is compared to markings.  0 players like this post! Like? |

That's been my thought, as it stands, the Random Eye app is worthless, as it only changes eyes you can change with the more selective eye app. Making it completely random would be more useful if it followed a smaller chance of getting better eyes. And i would not mind paying more to balance it out and keeping those eyes still rare. I know as someone who adores their stud, I'm unable to breed different eyes onto them, it's hard enough to get the base, but for their looks to clone is impossible without losing something, just for different BO eyes. I would love to actually see the item be worth something. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Not really, considering Random Markings include BO, doesn't defeat their value of being BO. We have enough eye colors to help keep a variety while allowing us the same option RMA's give us, can adust the stats accordingly on the value of sets we have now for eyes to keep BO eyes as BO, mirroring RMA's chances right now. The price and value going into the lion doesnt change, and gives us the option to improve when our project changes eyes, or fails to get them since not everyone remembers or has the energy to rocksalt every breeding, and the one time they don't, they get everything but the eyes. 0 players like this post! Oh damn I literally never once considered this and it's actually awesome this rules this RULES bruh If i were to offer feedback, I would make it more in line with RMA by making the tier 3 applicable stuff much rarer than 40%- special custom eyes would be a lot more common than applicator eyes I mean, and should be the 40% category instead, since theres no real difference between special and common Custom eyes as they're both from the oasis Eye Changer. Switching custom+special and applicator eyes around, I mean. I don't really think this is gamebreaking or would ruin eye value because Opal Saltlick already did that, however, since there's so many fewer eye types than marks and there's more BO eyes proportionally to the amount of eyes than there is BO marks to marks, making it easier to RMA with one eye type in mind, I would make the random eye changer like more than 1 GB as well- I think 4 or 5 is a good price, legit. I mostly spitballed the rates, I didn't do a whole lot of consideration so if someone wanted to suggest more of a fair judgment on pass rates I'd HAPPILY accept it, I'm just.. Bad at math and guess everything lol. I'd happily pay 5gb for an random eye app IF it was inclusive like this, considering I pay 10gb just for 5 RMA's and removers, and buying upwards to 40-50gb worth of RMA's already, I'd happily pay more for a chance of better eyes. 1 player likes this post! I don't see why we'd raise the price to 5 gb for the inclusion of special eyes, RMAs are only 1 gb and have bo/special markings, and markings tend to add far more value to a lion then its eyes. Other then that, full support! I always found it weird that it didn't include specials but the RMA does. I'd support for skin, too! The only reason I suggested a price range is because of how small the pool is compared to markings, even if we jack the % rates of rolling BO/Special eyes, it'd still be an unfair scenario and would upset the value of the eyes themselves because of how small the pool for eyes is. 1gb for an RMA is fine because the sheer amount of markings and colours outweigh the chances unless you're insanely lucky, 1 RMA is most likely only going to get you a t6 at best on an average RMA roll, most likely to get a common or (to my dismay-) a mane marking. That's just the joys of it, but right now Eyes don't have that much, not nearly as safeguarded as RMA's can be. That's my only reason for upping the price, to safeguard the rolls and the value of the trait itself so there's still a soft of risk to using the app. 2 players like this post! Like? |
