Okay, so I sort of made a small project out of this and spent way too much time in the wardrobe haha

But anyways, I made a few sort of "drafts" where I tried to use different markings (but there's only so many pinks and blues...) so I'll just take you through the process.



So this one is just getting the colors down and finding some good shades. Its got the basic three colors, but looks bland.



This one I tried to add a little more "pizzaz" and experiment with the various markings. I think they flow together nicely, but still a little underwhelming for my personal preference



I wanted to utilize the new Blue Poinsettia markings, but they didn't show up on muties yet so I used a normal lion for this. I really enjoyed how it turned out, but another subtle marking or two wouldn't hurt.



For this last one, I wanted to try to make it more "colorbomby" with more clashing colors. Its not too horrible, but it does kind of look like a unicorn puked on this lion so it could use some touch-ups. I really liked the white spotting around the face so I used it here too


Anyways, I know you asked for a simple idea or two, but boredom got the better of me and I went all-out. Of course, you can totally discard everything I just said if you don't like it

(Oh yeah, the base for all of these is Ice, and the mane colors for the first three is arctic. The mane color for the last one is white so I could utilize the whisper markings :) I didn't do anything to the eyes but I think a color that pops would look nice, such as red)
