I want to open comissions again, but I am not really sure about prices, so I need help I just recently had someone offer 50gb for a fullbody of a simple feral character if that helps. Examples: icon  realistic lion painting of my heir:  fullbodies:   I have more examples they are just really old :) I can also draw humans but I am not that skilled in them. I would appreciate if you could help me price these types of pieces: -bust -icon(or should this be the same as bust?) -halfbody -fullbody -realistic lion painting(if you could maybe give me a range? for example for a realistic bust, halfbody, fullbody etc. each would need a range depending on how complicated the lion is) Should I add other options too? @kiwi It really depends on the piece and on the character that I am drawing but I could give time frames for the pieces I used as examples The icon took around 3 hours The realistic lion painting took around 5-6 hours The cat fullbody took 3-4 hours(But the character is really simple so it would probably take longer if it was a more complicated oc) The wolf drawing took 2-3 hours but I was also designing the character while doing it( + it is flat coloured) I have this (older) anthro fullbody that took me 9 hours: https://ibb.co/nDbq547 (a more complex character + clothes) 0 players like this post! I think 50gb for a full body is a good price, but seeing the quality and time spent, 60gb is a better price. Think about the GB in terms of real life currency. 10gb = $5 USD 60gb = $30 USD Bust and icon could vary, it depends on what you do for them! The amount of body shown, the backgrounds you choose, etc. The realistic painting would definitely be more than the fullbody. Iβd say an extra 30GB (or around there) And definitely charge a fee for complex designs and clothes/accessories! It can truly be a pain to work on commissions that take double the time than they normally would due to a complex design. Donβt sell yourself short. You have high quality art and it should be properly paid for! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hey there! Idk if you are still looking for advice but I will give you my opnion XD Before anything your art is GORGEOUS!! I particularly love your fullbody style and really think you should invest on it as well as background for them to really sell the concept For shaded Icons like that one I would say minimum 50 USD. For the Fullbodies at least 70 USD for starters Your art is beautiful and you should really value yourself more! I usually say to focus on one art style first and then work on a wider sett of skills for example that semi realistic portrait Hope it helped =^^= 1 player likes this post! Like? |
