*Little to nothing is known about this late King's heritage, only this: that Valinor, son of Salwra, could not hold his own against a world that demanded strength in numbers, so he lost his father's throne and the quiet acres of his Jungle home to it's second guardian. Unlike the disgraced former King, Cerberos had brute power and magic running through his veins to sustain a pride that would flourish and protect their jungle home to the death.

- Newly-appointed King Cerberos establishes the foundations of his active pride, carving out the territory and forbidding trespassers.
- The pride sees many happy seasons, surviving the cycle of drought and flood while the world of Lioden grows ever more sophisticated. Seeing the advantages of culling for proper genetics, Cerberos opens a line of communication with other prides and begins to travel often between his territory and the common lands.
- The lionesses in Cerberos pride grow ever more attached to their jungle home, but it is clear that space is becoming limited. Fights for supremacy and competition among the pridemates are a constant nuisance to King Cerberos. His search for an heir and suitable sub to maintain order become the King's sole focus.
- Through barter and good territory relations, the Merciful Guardian of the Jungle was able to foster a male cub, born from an allied King. Even as a youngling the cub showed potential, allowing Cerberbos to quickly name an heir.
- The old King Cerberos lived a full and successful life, peacefully dying in the lands he established.

*The late King Cerberos came to befriend a lion known as Khanyisile, who took a liking to one of the Jungle King's prized lionesses ... or perhaps it was the Hirola lioness who could not resist King Khanyisile. Either way, the pair gave birth to a cub who showed great promise. King Cerberos and his lioness raised the cub as their own, as well as some of his half-siblings, knowing that the pride would need new blood to rule if they hoped to gain respect and dominance.

However, under the careful (and most private) eyes of his mother, the young male heir was secretly being trained to rule with merciless authority. The era of kindness in the Jungle Territory had come to an end; the rise of Ultralord was beginning.

- Quick to establish himself as the unquestionable authority, King Ultralord began his reign with an ironclad overhaul. He effectively ended the co-mingling of the lioness troupe and split the pride into two caste systems. One called the Gem court and the other, the Savage Court. Their roles were defined as protect and defend.
- King Ultralord bestows honorifics to his mother, and strategically places his full-blooded sister into one of the courts. The pride settles into their roles and adopts a ranking system.
- An alliance is made with the mountain territory bordering Ultralord's lands. King Scurlock, a massive primal Lion, agrees to breeding rights and free access between the lands in exchange for taking some of the few remaining Cerberos' supporters. The final lionesses who resisted Ultralord's rule and Cerberos' only living son are forced out, made to live in the new territory.
- King Khanyisile's bloodline establishes itself as the Jungle's ruling class. Cerberos' bloodline has ended.
