I have finally reached the point that I believe I am ready to open for Fursuit head commissions.

I am a relatively new maker and have only just recently finished my second complete head (with a third in the works!). Here are pictures, as well as a list of their features, time frame, and problems.

The first is my own Fursuit head, Baphy.

Baphy was the first head I made that I actually furred and finished. It's extremely rushed and not made of the best materials due to it mostly just being made for Halloween.
I used a balaclava I made from an old tee-shirt, and due to all the weight resting on it the seams constantly pop. The ears are stiff and awkward, and I really hate the shave job on them. The mesh for the eyes is layered windows screen, which was a pain to paint. The horns were made from foam mats, which give them a nice feel, but the connection to the head is questionable at best and they make the head really heavy. The fur was cheap and the fabric for the horns constantly frayed and popped the seems, making them stand out. Overall rating of 2/10, needs remade.

My second complete head is a badger I've been calling Spadger, and it's a giveaway head.




I only recently finished this head but I am rather happy with it. I made a pattern for the foam, making the base much more even than my first head. Each foam connection point that will be under a lot of stress (ears and jaw) is reinforced with felt. The eyes are made with 0.03" polystyrene and buckram mesh. The teeth are scuba fabric molded with thread. The nose is made from a soft, black fabric I had laying around and is "pickable." The head is completely size adjustable with Velcro straps, and the inside is completely lined. It also includes magnetic eyebrows and tongues.
My only problems with this head are the small bald spots from shaving, the inner lining creases, the not quite sewn gap between the jaw creases, the weak magnets, and the fabric creases around the front of the ears and right side of the jaw.

The third head is a current work in progress dragon head for a friend of mine.

This dragon is being made in the same fashion as the badger, with the only differences being the brand of fur and stronger magnets. I've decided to only use luxury shag fur from now on, as the quality is much higher than the fur i have been using thus far.
This head will include a "pickable" nose that leads into the mouth, magnetic tongues and eyebrows, fabric (possibly magnetic) teeth, adjustable head straps, and full inner lining.
