Calculating Cub Stats: In case you wanted an idea of how many stats to expect on the cubs of your lioness and a high stat king, I have a handy guide and a tool to help you figure it out! First, you take the male's total stats and subtract his skill stat. Next, take the female's total stats and subtract her skill stat. Then add those two values together. Once you have this combined total, you can now look up approximately what percentage of their total stats the cubs will inherit below. Note, this is an AVERAGE, meaning some cubs will roll higher and some cubs will roll lower. The numbers below were determined by a solo project where I did way too many calculations from scrying results on LD.* In case you were wondering why you subtract skill, it is because cubs start with 1 skill, so they do not inherit ANY skill from their parents. Less than 1K = 25% of parent's total stats 1-2k = 22% 2-3k = 20% 3-4k = 17% 4-5k = 15.5% 5-6k = 13.5% 6k and higher = 12.5% Too confusing for you? No worries! My cub stat calculator uses this data in formulas to predict cub stats, so you do not have to do any of this math yourself. Simply enter the parent's data in the calculator and it will return the average cub stats for you. The calculator can be found here: click me for cub stats! Just make a copy for yourself to use it! This calculator and the formulas within were created solely by me, so please do not take credit for it or redistribute it outside of this thread. *Take these values with a grain of salt since I calculated them 100% on my own. I personally believe that they are fairly accurate based on the sheer number of scries I did, as well as all the actual cubs born to my own stat kings, but I cannot fully guarantee the accuracy of these numbers. 5 players like this post! I have a 7.1k stat G3 king that I'd like added to the list! Thread I'd prefer that people subscribe to my thread as I regularly update when I rollover on there since I do occasionally freeze my account for different reasons! And the best way to know when I roll over is with that! It's also a good way to contact me! I will also eventually have a G2 stat king on my side but I'll post that later on. 1 player likes this post! Like? |

Also, as a side note for everyone, I forgot to add this to the top, but if your stud changes in any way, feel free to post on the thread to let me know. I plan on checking stats and stud fees on Saturday or Sunday to update them, but I might miss visual changes like base/eye/marking changes. If your boy gains a ton of stats in a short period or if I miss updating yours, just let me know! I'm sure I'll miss things and it won't bother me in the slightest if you guys post a reminder here.
