This condition makes a lion's skin easily damaged and very easy to scar. Every rollover could add a scar to your lion's body or every time they Hunt or patrol could gain a a scar

They'd probably die after 4-5 years due to blood loss

I'd guess this could be Fertile, but with very risky.... risks to take if you really wanted to breed one.

Like one could like get very injured and probably even (albeit rarely) die due to it

Or maybe they'd not be as Fertile? ( Goddess fert goes down to high, Medium goes down to very low, low goes down to very low, very low stays the same )

Or maybe they could get more scars?

This Ig could be kinged...But I'd guess they'd only be able to breed to Goddess/very high/high fert lionesses and unless Goddess has a higher chance to fail, oh and every battle could add a scar too, also with lowered defense.

Does this all make sense??

Or maybe they could die at 2-3 years.

I was guessing this mut would be an adult lethal mut.

Honestly, I like this idea and could see it working like the deaf mutation. It could be an overlay mutation like Acromia or Melanism, with no change line art but just layering some blisters/scars almost like the mange decor.

Birth message:
Although there is nothing visibly different about Cub, it isn't long before your lioness notices that they seem to be in pain, and don't play very much with the other cubs.

Health updates:
[Lion] seems to be coping well with their frequent bruises and scars. They say it's all about keeping positive, and that they're lucky to be alive. Your heart aches for the poor thing.

Death messages:
[Lion] was found dead in their nest this morning. Their wounds are crusted and smell rotten, they must have died of infection.
Today your pride is mourning the death of [Lion], their wounds became unbearable and they laid themselves to rest peacefully outside of you territory.

This would have potential as an adolescent lethal - think about it, lions would be tussling/scrapping as cubs/adolescents.
It would result in a lot of infections for the lion, which is another reason I think it would need to be lethal (humans with the condition often require antibiotics, and even amputations because of necrosis from infection). I don't think they'd be good as adults or as kings, their paws would probably be split/torn (typically the worst spot on humans too) making them unable to do much other than lie around.
It could be the very first adolescent lethal in the game.

SUPPORT REDACTED - OP is unwilling to take suggestions/realistic ideas on board, so I have removed my support.

Support! Though I agree with Fraekinn, I don't think they would make good kings. Also, defense is not a stat in the game. We have Strength, Stamina, Agility, Speed, Smarts, and Skill. I think an overall stat nerf would be more suited. Like how dwarves have their total stats cut...

I still think it could be an adult lethal-- as well, because we have only one adult mutation.

Still, I believe they should be kinged with HIGH debuffs as kings.

Our kings get into so many battles & all the exploring would not be possible with this mutation due to all the infections and injuries it would give them, but I agree with the others in the fact it could work as an adolescent lethal mutation.

How about if they lose 5/10 times in a row within one rollover/lidoen day they instantly die and you need to have a new king?

That would be unfair to the king's owner. Especially since "slaps" from lionesses rejecting you would also cause wounds. Are Clean players just not allowed to claim lions anymore if they king this mut?

And what about the paw wounds from split skin/soreness just from existing? They wouldn't be able to explore?
Which would make them pretty useless when it comes to explore-based events.

Slaps would become a scar.

Maybe energy would be halved too??

Nah, I'm taking back my support, it would have been AMAZING as the FIRST ADOL lethal, but you want it kinging for no real reason so.

Also ig the message that could have when you are about to king a lion with this mut would be " If this lion is kinged, then energy would be halved, slaps would cause scars, and, if you were to lose [x] amount of fights within a (rollover/hour), then he would be killed by this. Are you certainly sure this is what you want? "

It could also become a challenge mode-ish.

I'm fine with this being un-kingable, and the things I suggested were just a thought

I'd suggest this might be an adult lethal besides that.

It's worth noting that Blind and Clawless lions cannot be kinged (patrolled and hunt too), as they are disabling enough for an adult lion. Deaf lions are also barred from doing adult lion tasks, and deafness is lethal. There is no reason for another lethal adult mutated lion to have a pass, especially if you want them to "instantly die" upon rollover. It doesn't make sense. Rescinding my support.

Personally no support. I do think this would be highly lethal and I doubt they would make it past adulthood at all. I also strongly disagree with kinging.

If it were to be a lethal, unless there is special lineart, there is no point. The only point of lethals in this game are to be trophies with their cool and unique lineart. There wouldnt be special lineart in this case.
