Kain aimlessly wandered, then heard a noise coming from the nearby trees. He listened, finally tearing his gaze away from the pebble he had been idly playing with. He stealthily made his way among the leaves and noticed a beautiful black lion, sniffing around the abandoned human camp. He thought this lion was brave and amazing, as Kain was disgusted by the scent of humans. Lost in thought, he didn't even realize his feet were leading him toward the other lion. He stepped on a branch, which snapped loudly. The two lions locked eyes, then after a friendly nod, they continued on their way.
