Howdy all! This is just a simple lil suggestion for some new red bases that could be nice for the game. A few will hopefully be special, but most I would LOVE to see as fail bases; common, uncommon, and rare. More are coming! I am open to ideas and suggestions for what y'all think would look pretty :> In terms of common bases, Black has 24, Cream has 25, Gold has 26, and red has 23 (NOT including locust, as that is an event applicator base and it doesn't pass like normal Commons) Most of the red common/uncommon bases look more cream or brown than anything. So this whole thread will be focused on making unique reds that actually LOOK red! For more blended bases I'll include their palette in the png. Eyes featured on each lined mock-up are Dawn Specials/rares - Uncommons, Commons |

I love these all but dessert blossom...oh boy that has my heart.. If it ever becomes a real base i'll hord it, common base or not   1 player likes this post! Like? |

I love the idea of another ncl base, but its rather dark for ncls, and doesn't really match with the rest of their bases: that can be good and bad I really like the wildflower base, super pretty and i would DIE if i had this in-game! Dessert blossom looks like it just got over covid if i'm honest 0 players like this post! Like? |

It was mostly just an idea, since truffles are sweet and February seems to have a lot of sweet/food themed bases lol. I'm open to more ideas for Desert Blossom in terms of name! It was something I threw together with randomly picked reds/pinks lol. I'm kind of biased but personally I like when bases can look nice on their own without a ton of markings, so that's why it has the darker parts around the eyes 0 players like this post! Like? |

i think the lineless looks amazing, so maybe its just the odd color of eyes? idk maybe im imagining it but its cool and i would breed for it, same goes for the Raspberry Truffle base, im afraid it might turn to be a side project like the rest of my ideas as well tho! :) 0 players like this post! It could be! I can always blend them up a bit more and make a v2, it was made around midnight on my phone so that's why it's not terribly uniform lol, either way I'm glad you like them! Red's been needing more unique common bases for a long time 0 players like this post! Like? |

Thank you so much for your feedback!! UPDATE!! Raspberry Truffle has been changed to lean towards a February combo rather than ncl exclusive, AND a new base that is aimed to be NCL exclusive has been added! It is unnamed as of now and could be edited to be smoother/more uniform with LD standards in the future 0 players like this post! Like? |

For the new ncl exclusive base I have some name suggestions! Rosefinch: Reason Rosefinches are pink-red birds. its still a fun name! rosefinch:  Orchid mantis: Reason Lightish pink mantis! Very pretty and could fit?  Sweet rose: Reason Based off the sweet sunblaze rose, choosen as an idea because of Its color!  0 players like this post! Like? |
