Nacre Aurora Borealis' lore

She was born into a pride of very colorful lions. Her father was happy that they had a daughter just as colorful as he was. As the age 5 months came around she chose to explore and chase bugs and rats, hoping to bring some food back. But she didn't realize that she had strayed too far and she was thirsty,she walked for a total of 5 hours,farther away from her pride. She grew tired and weary,settling down to sleep,her dreams were visited by a weird lioness. The lioness was speckled with white,most was on her legs and back. She was woken by a stampede and realized she was no longer in her pride boundaries. A lone lioness came by,seeing the sweet cub and feeling sympathy. The cub didn't realize the lioness she was looking at was her mom. And her mom almost didn't recognize her either because she looked different. "Aurora is that you?" The lioness said and Nacre Aurora Borealis backed up in fear."h-how do you know my middle name?!" She yowled, terrified. Her mom sighed,knowing that she was chased because she didn't look anything like the pride the cub and her mate were in and that is why her cub didn't recognize her. "Aurora,I'm your mother,you never really knew me and ended up raised by a lioness that was colorful. I'm sorry I didn't recognize you right away,you are different now… you are white speckled like one of my friends who ended up killed by poachers for her unusual marks. How did this happen,my dear cub?" Nacre Aurora Borealis gasped. "I w-was visited by a lioness that was speckled… did she somehow give the speckles to me? What am I gonna do?! A-am I gonna be in danger?!" Her mom sighed. "No sweetie,but what are you doing away from your pride? It's not safe for a cub to be out here by herself." Aurora sighed,her ears down. "I wanted to hunt but I didn't realize how far I came… I dont know the way back and i'm sure you can't bring me back.. I will have to travel with you,mom,if you would have me…" her mom's gaze softened. "Of course I would care for you,but if I tell you to hide,hide… I can't risk losing you like my friend… if I disappear,I will always follow you even if I'm not physically there." As she neared adolescence,her mother told her to hide,her mother had taught her well,she knew how to hunt and care for herself now. Aurora hid as well as she could,her mother roared but then there was a gun shot and everything went silent. She was alone now. She barely got to know her mother and now she was gone. She started crying and wandering only at night to stay hidden. She traveled until her adulthood. She found a suitable pride,and it's king has just died without an heir to the throne. The lionesses saw it as a blessing and welcomed her as queen Nacre Aurora Borealis.
