Hello, this is mainly a forum post for myself but I’m going to list ALL of Acotas’ lore here… here we go.

Acotas is a snow leopard who was born March 29th in Afghanistan. He was admired for have a whiter, more snow-like pelt than his mother and siblings. He attracted the attention of other snow leopards, animals, and even several humans. Acotas didn’t mind all the attention, as long as no one physically bothered him. A few years had passed and there were so many snow leopards food became scarce. Acotas was starved for a week before he finally got up and left his home.

He travelled by paw for months until he reached the Africa desert plains, called Maasai Mara. He met a strange lion by the name of Cellular. Cellular was a darker colored lion cub by all by himself. Acotas decided to try to raise the little lion cub, while learning the ways of the African plains.
2 years passed and Celluar grew into a beautiful lion, and decided to create his own pride. He attracted his first lioness, Juba, who he had his first cubs with. Acotas watched proudly, as if Cellular was his blood and flesh.
As Cellular’s pride grew bigger, Acotas health started to decline, as he wasn’t made for African heat, despite withstanding it for 2 years.

Cellular set out to find more land for his growing pride, and sick father. Eventually after 6 months of searching, he discovered snowy mountains somewhat close to his pride lands. Cellular claimed this land as part of his territory and returned home to Acotas.
Soon after, Acotas was escorted to now, Mount Kenya. Some of the lionesses said they couldn’t part with Acotas, others said they prefered the temperatures. Acotas and 5 other lions ended up making residence of Mount Kenya and creating more snow-adapted lions.

Acotas was never able to breed to a lioness, and he was the only snow leopard in Africa. He ended up passing away at the age of 12 during wet season several years ago, but Mount Kenya remains and so does Acotas’ story, which is used by lionesses and grandpaw’s as bedtime stories.

Thats all of Acotas’ lore and I’ll be writing Moontiger’s next in his bio thanks sm if you stuck around and read this!
