I don't support. The 0 helps balance it out. As a avid patroller myself, I see no problem with the 0's. Yes it's annoying but there's other ways to make up for the bulk of those 0's. Once kinged one can start leveling.

I honestly don't see much importance in submales and the act of patrolling. If patrolling somehow was tied to actually defending your territory and your lions, like when your king is attacked then submales would have more importance. You have around 4-5 submales and only one - if you even want one of them to - inherits. Compared to lionesses, that seem to contribute more, they seem almost completely useless at this point.

To a point stats do matter. The higher the stats of the sire and dam, the more the cubs will have which means the less work someone not stat focused has to do. It gives them a good starting point. Not everyone has time to patrol.

Now if you don't care about any of that then yes subs are useless. Even with the extra stats I would like to see subs being more useful. It'll make having them more fun.

Sire and dam meaning the parents. The submales don't breed i don't believe so their stats don't pass onto the offspring and a lot of people don't have nearly enough msle slots to consistently have make adols under a submale's wing.

Most of the time people use patrolled submales as stat replacers (either to sell or use themselves) rather than just having them patrol for the hell of it. The stats will eventually pass to offspring once they are kinged.
