my territory stretches from the edge of this cliff, through the acacia forest, to the river. Every now and then we take in travelers to help with feeding the pride, raising cubs, ect. Lionesses are named after their personality, males are named things like mud, fire, speckle, etc. The hunt chief leads the hunts and the queen is second in command. The shaman Is the healer as well as the peacekeeper. most males are exiled at 1 and 1/2 years old, however, one young male is chosen to be heir and will stay with the pride forever.


EVENTS AND CELEBRATIONS
1 when a pride leader reaches fifteen years old, the heir will begin to breed with the pride's lionesses in secret. Eventually the current king will find out, when that happens the heir must successfully court a new queen. Then the heir must drive out the king before the sun sets. 2 when a lioness reaches fourteen years old, she must go off on her own to hunt as much as possible to prove she can still be useful to the pride. If she doesn't bring back more than five uses of food, she must be banished from the pride.
