Hi :)
I make heirs for people on my thread so I'd say I know a lil about what makes a good heir - I'll try to break it up into sections.

1.base
Base is one of the defining features of a lion what to focus on here:
Breed only bases - very popular and very easy to sell if they pass (jellyfish, outlaw, bushveld, pearl...)
Combo - here there are 2 options an actual combo base (elysian) or one of the combo factors (ice, divine..)
this gives a king greater stud potential and you can make a fun lil breeding project!
Special - most important is that you have a king you like, but i do recommend to have at least a nice applicator base if you don't go with BO or combo :)

2. Features
Features was something I didn't understand for a while since it seems like a detail, but they play a big role in a good king! Features are: Eyes, mane shape, mane color and skin color!
best case scenario those features are breed only, but it's tough to get a full bo cub for cheap - my advice is aim for at least eyes!

3. markings
Again here the most desirable Bo markings and Rosette markings, but it's most important is they work together, try to aim for applicator at least as tier 0 and 1 tend to de value a king (if it's many that is)

4. Mutation
I saw you'd like a hybrid king - they look cool but come with limitation as they can only breed goddess fertility lionesses hence they get expensive even after you get one.
For mutation you should aim for a passable mutation - a piebald/patches variant or a primal variant :)

This helps A TON!! Thank you so so much! I never thought too much the features as they confused me a bit too much as well but now that you explain it, it makes a bunch more sense. I also did not know that hybrids could only breed to goddess fert lionesses so thank you for informing me about that too! I think I'm gonna go on a hunt with all your tips in mind and maybe try to create one in the wardrobe for more ideas.
