You look around as you're lead out of your regular den area, your ears twitching from the slightest of sounds. You pause, flexing your claws and letting them sink into t he soft, pliant dirt beneath your paws. "Move along," the male behind you snarled, tugging at the chain harshly and sending you stumbling forward. This is your home. You live in cages, the male lions roaming free and ordering you around as if they were kings. The only times when you're allowed to exit your cage is when you're going to take a drink, when you need to do your business, when you're going on a hunt, or the worst of all, on choosing day. Choosing day is the day where the males get to bid for any lioness they want, using anything from bones, feathers, and pretty rocks, to carcasses and hides. The king of the pride chooses who wins the bid, and then he gets the winner's auction items. The other items that were bidded forward but not chosen as the winning bid are returned to the lion who bidded with them. The king of the pride always gets first pick on the lionesses, and he has an automatic slot of two. The deputy gets the second pick, and he gets one lioness. Then comes the healer, who also gets one slot. The rest of the males get to rage a bidding war. Choosing day can take anywhere from a day, to a week. The week before choosing day each male's lioness gets released from then and is only allowed to be in their cage, unlike when they were able to sleep in their male's den. The males can do anything to their females, though they have two rules. First, you cannot let your female free, and second, she always has to be on a chain. Any lionesses not bidded on during choosing day or the following days will automatically go to the king. When a lioness is nursing a cub they are sent to the nursery (which is not a cage) where they are chained by they're right front and back paw. Choosing day happens when the stars align perfectly (roleplay starts the day before Choosing day) Rules;; All males are cruel, you must message me for permission if you wish otherwise. This means you can not always win a fight. When you start fighting with another lion, there must be at least 5 posts back and forth between the two characters before one may win. You also are not allowed to decide you're going to win without the other player's consent. He loves a good challenge, and has never let his king down. History; He was abandoned by his pride when he was a cub and the healer of this pride found him. He took him into this pride and Raj has *flourished* ever since Strengths [you may only have one strength]; Brute force Weaknesses/Fears [unlimited]; Not smart, fears nothing Likes [unlimited]; Pain, fighting, killing, taunting, sharpening his claws. Hmm, this looks interesting :3 Name; Safa Gender; Female Rank; Lioness Age; 3 Years Cubs; N/A Personality; With a temperament as fiery as her pelt, Safa does not give a meerkat's tail what your gender is; disrespect her and she'll highfive your face with her claws. She's brutally honest and can be downright mean and fiercely loyal to those she considers friend. History; Born heir to the throne of a foreign land, Safa was expected to be the next ruler. From the looks of things, she was growing into a great Queen, a little ruthless with her suggested punishments but fair in the end. She only recently became captured; she insisted on travelling alone in order to meet potential mates in a another pride. Safa forgot to take into account her lousy sense of direction and wandered into the wrong lands where she was ambushed. She was captured, but not before giving a few of her captors a good whooping. Strengths; Safa's an exceptionally skilled fighter. If given the chance, there's a good chance she can beat anyone into the ground, male or female. Weaknesses/Fears; When she's angry, she doesn't tend to think clearly. She can be smart when she wants to be but when she furious she seems to think brute force is the way to go (which of course, is not the case right now). Another weakness is the fact that she's fearless. Yes, she's almost stupidly fearless and can't seem to understand when she's outmatched. Likes; Safa doesn't particularly like anything. She does appreciate solitude though, and a good brawl once in a while. Dislikes; Cubs, Males, Loud Noises, Teenagers, Annoying people etc. The list seems to get longer day after day. Appearance;  Bigger: Clicky! (Do you like my photoshop skills? :D) Safa's sometimes referred to as the "Red One" for a reason. Her exotic red coat has attracted the eyes of many lions. Name; Precious Diamonds Of Caverns (Precious) Gender; Female Rank; Lioness Age; Two Years Cubs; Curently None Personality; Grown to the environment she grew up in, she became a furious lioness who doesn't take disrespect from other lions. Even her commander. Just to test her strength in her teeth she bites on the cold metal of the brutal chain that digs deep in her neck. Knowing when a cub approaches, she calms down her mood so she doesn't scare it. When too many males crowd her, she ends up hitting and lashing them with her tail. It seems as if she is never on choosing day since she is such a keeper. Maybe that's what explains her loyalty. History; Precious was always the bright cub of the bunch, forcing her parents and siblings to play. Being birthed in such a small pride meant they were a target. Being snatched from her hunting party as an adolescent, she was pushed around, ordered to stay on a chain. As a pet. As a tamed lion. Leashes weren't what she wanted to tolerate. On her first months, she clawed and attacked the lions that poked her, pushed her, or sold her to another. Her name wasn't always Precious Diamonds of Caverns. It was Svenka. Her first commander thought she was so perfect. Never to lose. He named her Precious. She always thought he put a collar around her, with a few little diamonds on it, saying Precious. She felt like a dog. That was until he sold her for some 'rare' rocks. So Precious am I? Her last words to the male. Strengths; Precious has experienced with hunting the larger prey by herself. Giving her the strength she needs to fend for herself. Weaknesses/Fears; She has always been afraid to bore cubs. She would lie in that little nursery, giving birth to little innocent cubs that would just join the brutal male force or be chained up like her mother, and without any comfort. She also fears death. She had always been cursed with the phobia that she would die from one of the males beating her. Her weakness is she hates chains and always will. Likes [unlimited]; Loves a battle here and there. Always loved to doodle on on sand that rested in the dens. Males who treat her equal. If there is any. Dislikes [unlimited]; Most males. To much drama. Name; Demoka Gender; female Rank; Lioness Age; 3 years Cubs; none Personality; Aggressive, hateful but kind when needed. In her cage she hides in the corner, not wanting to see or hear anyone or anything, she is very fair but with a temperament and attitude. She is very strong, she uses that to stop being pushed around by the males but often fails In fear of being hurt. History; History is a mystery, but she remembers the day she was born. Her mother was a nice lioness, one who loved all, but she died many years ago due to hunters, since her mothers death she grew old and strong, with the hope to get revenge Strengths [you may only have one strength]; Very good hunter,she Is strong so is almost always bringing something back from a hunt, but her glowing eyes are a dead giveaway, But speed is her Strength, She is faster then a cheetah but her lungs can fall and fail if she runs for to long. Weaknesses/Fears [unlimited]; Has always been scared of blood and being hurt, She was teased as a cub for her darker looks and for seeing things others don't, She was hated for these fears and always treated differently, this no longer effects her, She will fight back now Likes [unlimited]; Kind lion/esses, ones she can trust with her life, the color blue, Walking around outside, seeing sunlight Dislikes [unlimited]; death, blood, hate, flowers, Some cubs Appearance [picture/link of picture prefered];  Art by Ressi 0 players like this post! RooiName; Rooi Gender; Male Rank; Cub Age; 6 months Cubs; ... Personality; Rooi is very quiet; he is to some degree afraid of other lions. However, he is ambitious and determined to be a good guard when he is older. Rooi is the type who is determined to live up to others' expectations; because of this he is trying to eliminate the part of him that is thoughtful and slightly caring and be like the other males. History; He was born, he grew. Cubs don't tend to have much history. Strengths; Rooi is quick on his paws. Weaknesses/Fears; Rooi is lacking in brute force, as well as being afraid of crowds, heights, and becoming blind or deaf. Likes; Quiet, running, and watching things. Dislikes; Lions who talk loudly, feeling weak or helpless, long but pointless conversations. Appearance;  SivName; Siv Gender; Female Rank; Lioness Age; 2 years 5 months Cubs; ... Personality; Siv takes pride in being "the only one around here with half a brain" - and a lot of other things, being very arrogant. She can talk her way out of a lot of things but knows when to keep her mouth shut. Even so, she occasionally lashes out at others, and her sarcasm can be troublesome. While inside she is fuming, Siv leaves being outspoken to the others. History; Siv was born a normal cub, not having a very eventful life, collecting a few scars as she grew older. Eventually she learned when to keep quiet, and focused on being useful enough to fetch a good price on choosing day. Strengths; Can talk her way out of most situations. Weaknesses/Fears; Siv does not always think before speaking or lashing out, and she fears bees and death - both her dying, and her being responsible for the death of others. History; He was a simple hunter in his old pride, but he always wanted more. He had plans to overthrow his King when the time came. In her current circumstances, however, she has become hardened and harsh; she is filled with more anger and bitterness than she should be. She tries to remain relatively tolerant and calm, if even cold, in most situations, however do not let that fool you into thinking she won't use the weapons she has in teeth and claws; she can be vicious if she is forced. She does maintain her warmth for cubs however, and wants nothing more than to nurture her own. History; Born into a small, supportive pride, Imara ventured further than normal one particular day in order to search for a wider variety of prey. Here, out in the open, she was cornered, trapped and abducted into the life she lives now. For weeks she cried out in the night, however she is now silent, and watches from the shadows. Strengths [you may only have one strength]; She can often cleverly use her skills, other than physical (to talk, flirt, argue and use her body language) to overcome her problems. Weaknesses/Fears [unlimited]; Being unable to produce cubs, being 'broken', slightly too trusting, can be stubborn. Likes [unlimited]; Cubs, respect, intelligent conversation, hunting + stalking, being groomed and the night. Dislikes [unlimited]; Excessive cruelty, her chain, chaos, mistreatment of cubs and embarrassment.
