Khanyisile

Khanyisile just woke you up from sleeping. Again. For more water. And they have to pee. But it's dark. Ugh.

You try and sit to have a quiet meal with Khanyisile, but this was a mistake. She mentioned something about itchy testicles and you snorted wildebeest up your nose.

You approach your pride mates to wake them up for the day - and notice all of them have red mud smeared on their faces. You immediately look at Khanyisile - yup, she's totally pretending to be asleep. Hah.

Chuckling, Khanyisile runs towards you and rubs her head under your chin, then runs away to prance around.

Khanyisile was one of the first cubs born the Meshindi that he deemed worthy enough to keep, and from a very young age she made herself known as one of the most rambunctious lions of the Pride. She was very different from her neutral mother, and between her and Ingwe, no lion in the Pride was safe from being pranked, not even Meshindi himself. While he was less accepting of her humorous nature as another lion might've been, he didn't kick her out, which in itself Nadia considered a miracle. As Khanyisile grew older her pranks grew fewer and fewer, but every once in a while she would sacrifice another lion's dignity for the sake of a good laugh. Her pranks kept the Pride's mood high even through the poaching times, and as long as she lived they never experienced a division such as during the Great Hunger.
