Desta is the daughter of Atria, the first dwarf lioness to join the King's harem. While most lions hoped she might produce some dwarf cubs for the pride, she instead gave birth to Desta, a piebald like her father. Because of her piebald coloring Desta was allowed to stay in the pride as a princess and she is well known for her grace and beauty. And in the next litter her mother bore, their was a single dwarf cub who would be called Diyha Draconis. Despite their size and personality differences, the two sisters would become very close as the younger grew into an adult lioness, blessed with wit and wisdom.
