Abasi

You notice Abasi focused on a small, still moving bird under his paw. He keeps pulling away feather by feather. You stop in your tracks, deciding to not bother him right now.

Your paws get weak as you approach Abasi to say hi. He perks up, ready to repeat your last marathon of dozen spars in a row. Uhhhhhhh.

You see Abasi has a dozen fresh scratches on his face and blood dripping down his chin. You decide not to ask what he has been up to.

As you survey your pride lands before you, Abasi comes to stand next to you. You smell blood on the wind.

Abasi was born into the Pride during Amukelani's reign and proved himself to be nearly as bloodthirsty as his father from a very young age. While he never showed the same enthusiasm for lion killing as Amukelani did, he mercilessly hunted down anything that he considered to be a threat to the Pride with little regard for his own well-being. As he grew older he started to mellow out, and by the time Rukiya defeated Amukelani and assumed control of the Pride he very rarely showed the same bloodlust of his youth. He became a valuable teacher for those who could stand his personality, and by the time he passed the hunters of the Pride had become fierce warriors as well.
