Biography

Shadow Stalker stands taller than your average lion. It's clear he inherited both his parents primal sizes. "Name's Shadow Stalker. You can call me Shadow, though. Only one my dad had who is built like a god!" He puffs out his chest and tosses his gravity defying mane around. "Need me to patrol your lands? Don't worry, I'll chase off any unwanted buddies."

Moonlightstar #191309:
Queen Astrid beheld the male in front of her. Her patrolling male had informed her of a passing male within her territory. And brought Shadow here. "Shadow Stalker..." With grace that matches a cat she stalked around him taking in his mane and size. Honestly she couldn't lie that she found him quite attractive. She halted in front of the large male. "You are truly a sight to behold Shadow. I'm Queen Astrid welcome to the pride of Wandering souls and stars. Please follow me my dear, the pride would be honored to meet a son of a God."

Shadow stalker grinned. He knew how handsome he was. Prowling after the starbound female. He brushed his fur against her. Earning him a glare from the other male behind them. "Your pelt is as beautiful as heaven itself. Your eyes as bright as the sun, for the sun is shy and hides away from your beauty your Grace" He flirted with the female. The female however was quite...caught off guard. The other male wasn't fond of this intruder making his Queen uncomfortable. He pushed through standing in front of the male. "If i may interject my Queen..." She nodded slightly. He nodded in response and bared his teeth at the male. "I don't take kindly to you Flirting with our Ruler. As her majesty's guard. It is my duty to defend this pride. Leave no-man. This pride is no home to-!" Queen Astrid held up a paw at her guard to silence him "Sir Nimetön, while i do appreciate your concern my dear with my safety as well as the prides. You do however forget that all wandering and traveling lions are our guests...even if they may be...gifted" she replied. Looking at Shadow Stalker and back at Nimetön. Shadow stalker narrowed his eyes at the male. "My father will rage if he finds out how you treated his son!" He snarled. Queen Astrid narrowed her eyes and took a step forwards. "I wont tolerate Threats or Violence, Shadow stalker i kindly ask that you leave...I'm not usually one who turns away a wanderer, but you shown me you will cause trouble within my home".

Even if the Male towered over her, she shown no fear as she faced him. Nimetön stalked up near his queen's side. Out of the shadows more lions joined staring down the male. Shadow stalker growled in rage. "My father will hear if this!" He whipped his blade like hair around, throwing one last glare at the pride before he stalked off.

Shadow Stalker's appearance was treated much the same as any other traveler. Much to his offense, of course, not that he would get angry right away, they didn't know he was a son of a god until he told them, after all. Which he made a point to say something about at the soonest appropriate opportunity. He wasn't sure what to make of the diplomat who was leading him simply saying "Ooo, that's cool." He was used to at least a little more fanfare than that. Perhaps the leader would prefer to hear. When he did finally spot the leader, in his last month there after a long time of flirting with lionesses with results ranging from charmed to annoyed to entertained by his antics, he finally spotted the leader. Took him long enough! If Shadow didn't plan on traveling to more places, he might have considered taking over the pride from this weak little male. Bermuda didn't have much mane to speak of, little more than a ridge of long fur along the back of his neck, and he was smaller than the lionesses Shadow Stalker had wooed! Or failed to woo, but he preferred to ignore those failed attempts. Attempts from Shadow to bring Bermuda's negligence to the tiny king, however, was greeted with not much in the way of a reaction. A twitch of his ear and a curl of his lip, but he didn't back up or break his steady stare. He informed Shadow Stalker that while travelers that meant well were welcomed, travelers who only intended to act cocky and start trouble were not, and he should go. Shadow Stalker was, frankly, offended, expressing this with growled words telling Bermuda exactly who he was. Son of a god, traveler from afar, dreamboat of the ladies, and more fit to lead than this scruffy little male with his tiny mane.

Shadow Stalker didn't expect to be zapped with a bolt of lightning, sending starbursts of pain through him and crumpling him to the ground. Were he not filled with divine blood, it might have killed or at least temporarily incapacitated him. Fortunately, after a few moments of laboured breathing, he was able to stumble to his feet again and glare at Bermuda. The pride leader offered no explanation besides a pointed stare turned away from the pride, implying Shadow should go that way away from his pride. There was no chance this puny male was related to a god like Shadow himself, but he didn't want to lead this pride anyway. He had places to be. Shadow sneered down at the male and headed off, body and pride hurting.

Scouting for Booty #89370
[Added: Grapple Plant]

Shadow was looking for a place to rest, a dry spot as it had been raining since he entered the lush marshlands and headed towards a valley with red cliffs in the distance. When he finally arrived to the valley, it was completely silent. Not even a bug was chirping. Only the sound of rain coming to bounce of the greenery of the trees and collect in puddles on the ground. He walked for a while, looking for some shelter out of the rain when he came upon a split in the cliffside and started for it. It was then that he heard voices. Female voices. He couldn't quite make out what they were saying, so he crept into the split further. The rock dug into his sides as he tried to shoulder his way forward. The air felt light, so there had to be more airflow than what he was getting. He let out a low rumble of frustration when his shoulder hit an outcropping of stone.

The voices stopped, and Shadow had to strain his ears to make out quiet hushes and some shuffling around. A few feet more and their was solid rock. It perplexed the lion, feeling the air could keep going, but the path was obviously blocked. The voices resumed, apparently they didn't think it was necessary to keep quiet. Perhaps they were expecting someone to come through. He backed out of the pathway, stepping carefully and having to twist his head uncomfortably to see behind him. He was finally back out into the rain, but wasn't alone. He could feel eyes on him, but as he looked around he couldn't see anyone in the grayed landscape. The fur on the back of his neck stood on end, blinking out into the trees that could host all sorts of threats. He wasn't too concerned, he could easily defend himself. He didn't expect the gentle steps and form of a hooded lioness come out of the trees however.

"You shouldn't be here. She won't let you leave." her voice was soft and careful. She looked frail beneath the wraps and chains that bound her legs together just enough that she could walk, but certainly not run.

"I can handle myself. Do you need help? He replied, taking a step towards her. A heaviness fell over him that made him step back.

"The future will come as it will. You must go." she said, turning and heading back the way she came. "Wait!" he called, following after her. As he got closer, she seemed to move further away and after what felt like hours of following her, he was out of the valley. He looked back, but the heavy feeling was retreating. He decided not to persist and left the valley behind him.

The Providence Pride (Hannbells #129483)
Shadow Stalker found his time in Providence Pride boring. He was too conceited to care about patrolling (he was after all a guest), but he was also jealous that Ur and Thor got most of the attention of the males. Not that he'd ever admit such a thing. Thankfully, he had a good time with Micai sometimes, who was so attentive to his words that it canceled the rest of the pride's tasteless behavior. Of course, it didn't help that Ur was so arrogant and that he gave Shadow Stalker a scarred eye. When the duat lion left, the queen sent him on his way with a knowing smile.

While visiting his fathers pride, Shadow Stalker started becoming obsessed with getting as strong as he could. He was already stronger than a few young kings, and he wanted to be stronger.

Madwoman #215503

Shadow Stalker had been following the fascinating scent of many females for a few days now. He could tell he was close - so close he could almost taste it. He chuckled to himself as he strutted, never seeing the lioness closing in on him until he was too late. She came at him fast and low, almost silent. He found himself knocked over & snarled, forcing himself to his feet and throwing her aside with a god-like blow. She was up just as quickly and faced him, panting. They stared each other down.

Shadow Stalker sniffed deeply and broke into mocking laughter. "Well," he said, "this is perfectly stupid. It's your scent I've been following. And the scent of all your denmates." He sniffed even more obviously. "You certainly smell like the firecracker you are." The lioness did not laugh, nor even relax. She stared at him a little longer with murder in her eyes, then turned without a word and began walking. Shadow Stalker swaggered after her. "So, what's your name?" he said lazily, ignoring her obvious ire.

"Medusa." she spit back at him. "If you wish to stay, you will work. You will not touch any of my sisters. You are not welcome here from my heart and spirit, but I do not control what riff-raff may drift in and out."

"Hey -" Shadow Stalker started to protest, but she turned on him. "Do not try me any further. I would rather fight you to one of our deaths than listen to you a moment longer." Shadow Stalker sighed, and kept his silence.

Shadow Stalker had a relatively good time at Hollowhome despite this unsettling introduction to the pride. He feasted voraciously in between strenuous patrols, feeling a dark glee at the sensation of his power growing. He flirted excessively but found himself laughed at, and always, Medusa was just in his line of sight, staring at him.

To be frank, he wasn't too put out about leaving that pride behind. He left upon waking without any goodbyes. To hell with them, he'd find somewhere more befitting a lion of his station.

Story: Shadow Stalker crossed the border into the Pride of Soaring Eagles in secret one night, unobserved by curious eyes. It was a vast territory, but only a small number of chosen lions lived there, which made it impossible to guard the full length of the border at all times.

Shadow Stalker, however, did not know this and so the absence of guards worried him at first. His concern was not as strong as his hunger, though, and in the early hours of the morning his rumbling belly forced him to hunt. He needed food!

But just when he had spotted a lone gazelle that had somehow been separated from his herd and got ready to strike, a young brown and white lioness jumped out at him. "Don't even think about it," she roared at him, "This prey belongs to the lions from the Pride of Soaring Eagles, and our noble King Filius Flitwick II. Taking it is an offense that will be punished most severely. I will have to take you back to our camp now."

Oh, crumbs. Just what he needed right now - no breakfast and an annoying female that would certainly not let him get away easily. Shadow Stalker might be taller and stronger than his captor, but this was her territory and he was prepared to make any bet that she was not alone. In fact, he could see other lionesses emerging from their covers right now. There were five of them, and they all looked fit and well-trained. He would not stand a chance against them. Recognizing defeat, he just shook his mane, "All right, all right. Take me to your King if you must, but make it quick. I'm hungry and only passing through anyways."

With the brown and white lioness on one side and a Primal looking girl on the other, Shadow Stalker was matched to the Pride's camp, where a majestic looking male awaited them. The King stood almost as tall as Shadow Stalker, which was a rare event for the tall lion, and although Filius Flitwick II was no longer in his prime, he still appeared to be remarkably strong. Fighting him would not be desirable.

"So? What do you have to say for your defenses?" asked the King, once his captors had informed him what had happened.

"Twas a mistake," Shadow Stalker mumbled, "Just passing through. Let me have a bite and you'll never see me again."

The King's eyes rested on Shadow Stalker for a moment, before he said thoughtfully, "Very well, then. I will allow you to eat our prey. However, I will not allow you to move on. At least not now. You will have to earn everything you take, by patrolling our lands. Don't even think about slipping away during the patrols, because if you do I will find you - and I will kill you." The skulls of many lions decorated the camp, and so Shadow Stalker knew that this King wasn't joking. In fact, he was very serious. Deadly serious.

Over the days that followed, Shadow Stalker therefore made sure to put not one toe out of line, as he feared for his own life - and as the days passed he even found himself making friends with his captors. Particularly that brown and white lioness, who had later introduced herself as Elladora, was charming. They often shared their prey, talked until deep into the night, and Shadow Stalker soon admitted that he felt a strong attraction to her. He would have liked nothing better than to take her as his mate, and he also knew the feelings to be mutual.

He also knew, however, that it could not be, as the King himself had also set an eye on the stunning female and blood would be shed if Filius Flitwick II found out. It was with a heavy heart that Shadow Stalker therefore asked the King for permission to leave and said goodbye to his loved one. As a final present, Elladora gave him a piece of art that had been in the Clan's possession for a long time. It was the mask of a true warrior that Shadow Stalker would now and for always wear proudly, and it would forever remind him of his one forever love.
