Sonja is life, her elephants and her travel the desert and life simply follows them. Some lions say if you see a gold lion, who's pelt seems to shine like the sun, sitting atop an elephant then you'll be blessed with a life as long as elephants!
Sonja is the middle child, and her job is clouded with mystery... All she knows is that she needs to travel across the desert when the sun is shining!
The gods sometimes whisper to her and give her specific places to go. Why? She's never truly figured that out, and those places she is told to go to have never given her answers...
Sometimes she visits sandy mountains, sometimes a herd of desert animals... Sometimes she's directed to a place just in time to save a lion from meeting her sisters. Is she told to save the lions or the herd or anything else other then simply go to the place? No... Sonja just acts upon her instincts when she arrives at destinations. "I just feel... Compelled to go to them, to help them stand again..."
The few lions blessed by Sonja's touch would suddenly feel better and be filled with energy! Like she reignited the will and the capability to live in them once again!
Some lions who have watched Sonja travel from a distance will say the land/rocky places her or her elephants walk on seem to burst with life!! Cactus, water root, and a bunch of succulents or other water bearing plants seem to grow in their tracks. But not always... The plants are also never fully grown, just sprouts. It still takes time for the plants left behind by Sonja and her elephants to grow, and the sand or land needs to be able to grow these plants! She's a miracle, but she isn't a god...
Most lions who have lived in the Endless Desert for a long time know to find the scent of elephants. For Sonja could have come by and possibly the Gods had guided her to your path so you may survive.
Sonja typically has one elephant, but sometimes she'll have up to 10 elephants following her. They all eventually leave her side or die.
Sonja is NEVER seen at night. Sonja can be seen without elephants but that's only because her riding elephant has passed, and she's searching for a new companion!

Sonja is busy meticulously grooming her paws and claws of any dirt and blood that clings to them. They have to be perfect.

Citrine 4m Special is eagerly talking to Grandpaw πΆππππ, asking him for advice on how to be respected by others. Grandpaw πΆππππ proudly tells them how he made everyone respect him by regaling the cub with some exaggerated "amazing adventure" from when he was younger. Yeah, right, old man! You were there when that all happened, and it's not even close to how it really went down. Not wanting to break the cub's enamoured concentration, though, you simply turn and trot off, leaving Grandpaw πΆππππ to puff up his ego with false tales.
