It was born in the dead of night, a whim of fate kind of choice. It wasn't Frostfang who made the choice, but it was she who moved forward with the action. No one is really sure who Frostfang got the idea from, but no one dared question their queen. Only Frostfang knows what happened to get this idea, to purge the idea of supremacy between different tribes and prides. No one group of lions is superior to the other, and it curdles Frostfang's stomach when she hears of tales from neighboring groups where kings and queens get too big for their furs. Frostfang claims to those she is close to that she was visited by various unidentifiable spirits and told about the injustices of the lands surrounding her. She set out to make her own little group of like-minded lions, to ensure what she was doing was true and just. This is how The Nycto Sect was born, and where it will flourish.

In the dark of night, The Nycto Sect will become the moon in the darkness.
