My Dragon Cave

Youve been walking for days, stopping only for a few hours at a time, always woken from the most restless of sleep by whispering voices. They giggled and bubbled just above your ears, making them twitch at every sound. It seemed to come from all around you, yet as you looked out at the vast dry plains, devoid of trees or plants beyond the odd gnarled bush here or there, you saw no one. You approach the giant wall of mountains in front of you with cautious curiosity, youve never seen this place before but youve heard the stories. Some say theres a pride of ferocious, cannibalistic lions just past these peaks who stalk the tall cliffs and attack any outsiders who dare approach. However, others say the pride is an oasis, a fiercly protective band of lost lions whove come together to forge a home in the moutains and the river valley just beyond. As you approach you spot a beautiful lioness standing just above you at the entrance of a den, her coat was glittering and sparkling in the dim evening light. She was surrounded by butterflies and dressed in flowers. A goddess. "Hello, outsider, I am Askoldia."
