We all know that sub males cant breed. many of us, due to lack of funding, are waiting months for their king to finally retire, in order to make a stud out of a better male. this wait is frustrating, especially to those of us who use both allowed accounts for projects and cannot "freeze" males.
there have been many suggestions of allowing sub males to stud. what I'm offering is a bit different.

say you have a female in heat.
say you also have a dreary king, and a beautiful heir as a sub.

the sub male will have an option to "sneak" to the female a set amount of times each day of her heat. say- 5 times a day. he will try to breed her. there will be a chance, a small chance, that is, that he wont be discovered and chased away by the king. it means that there will be only a small chance of a male actually breeding a female successfully.
that way, a player will have a chance to get more veriaty and use their heir before he becomes king, but the population of cubs wont overflow, because there is little chance of success.

if it is required, a fee can be involved as well. a fee per try, thus creating an SB sink of the game.

another option is that there would be a penalty to "getting caught". maybe hunger goes down, or a delay in sub patrol ("your lion is injured and cannot patrol again for an additional hour")

this option will also decrease the number of chased males, encouraging players to buy more sub slots.

I'm curious to hear your opinions on such an arrangement and suggestions for its improvement.

This suggestion has 310 supports and 22 NO supports.

@Whisper: But in the end it's still their game and it's up to them to decide if they want it implemented or not no matter how much support the ideas get. People have always wanted breedable subs but the staff have said multiple times NO. And they have their reasons that should be respected.

For example lilac coloured eyes have been suggested multiple times and the staff declined it. Making more threads about it is not going to make them change their minds because they've made it clear they don't want them implemented in their game.

@Jack: Then wait for one of them to retire naturally like everyone else does?

You mightyena did not listen to a word I said. I like my male the way it is an plan on forever keeping his looks the way they are. I DO NOT want my main or my side males to change.

Really steams my hide when people don't listen.

Actually I did listen! You never said you were planning on keeping them like that /forever/. You simply said you didn't want to change them so naturally I assumed you meant you didn't want to retire them early and wanted them to stay as they are until they died.

So yeah, sorry. I misinterpreted.

Eh, no. Studding and Sub-Males in general are already too unrealistic.

Either pay the GB retirement fee or have your lioness studded.

No support. The admins have already said Submales will never be breedable. Unfortunately no amount of topics or versions of this idea will be implemented. They are just there so you have an heir to take over when your King retires. This won't change nor does it need to. Submales work as they are supposed to, and in the long run it does not take all that long to wait for your King to retire anyway.

Lukio it is untrue about realism if brothers in the wilds of Africa stay together (which they usually do) They will breed the females together. So your statement is untrue. there for invalid.

An just because the admins said they wouldn't do it doesn't mean they eventually might change there mind. They are human after all. An no amount of you or any one else that seems to want to down suggestions like this will stop suggestions like this. It seems more then a few people like the idea. Or it wouldn't be suggested as many fricken times as it has.

I think that there should be an option where the king has a 50/50 chance of discovering the deceit and if he discovers it he kills the cubs!

Jack, it is unrealistic for one lion to go to another's pride and allow that king to breed with his own lionesses. Or are you going to say that rivals share? Please.

Also, you have no right to say that my "argument is invalid." Firstly, it is uncommon for brothers to stay together after their initial bachelor's stage and even less likely for them to continue working together for much longer after that. Secondly, it is MY opinion and therefore wholly relevant. Check yourself.

No support due to the fact the admins have stated time and again it will never happen

Unless the chances are extremely low for succeeding and the penalty for being caught by your main male is that your submale is automatically chased away from the pride and no longer able to be claimed =3

No but in the wild if two brothers grow up together they breed the same females in the one pride they settled. Do some research. I was referring to you saying it was unrealistic for more then one male to breed in a single den. So take a breather for one because you came all heated into the discussion by stating "Either pay the GB retirement fee or have your lioness studded.

As you have the right to have your own opinion they do as well by making said suggestion. An just because you have an opinion doesn't make it a fact.
