I'm working on some oc projects of mine and also finally getting back to outlining things instead of just leaving them in sketches. I'm having trouble with the Clydesdale's pose, something looks weird about him but I can't tell what. Can anyone help/critique?  0 players like this post! Like? |

Took a break from the other stuff to do a trade [which is not up here cause it is finished] and a new icon for my rotation, which is still WIP [done the lines, but it still looks weird with pure black lines and I need to fix the one eye]  It will be resized for the icon of course but I draw these at 2x size. 0 players like this post! Such lovely art! Hopefully I have some time today to do some sketching :D (May edit the post with the sketches) @OokamiRaven (#16535) I think the problem is with his legs. The left foreleg should probably be more forward and such an angle so that the hoof lays flat on the floor? Have you flipped the canvas?  Someone gave me tips on making the face less skewed, so I am working out the kinks on these lines, still. Should be about the final before I refit the markings and then go shade Edit: Shading, Lighting done, lineart coloring and bg still to do.  0 players like this post! I got all inspired by a few (realism) artists, so I tried to attempt it myself ..but I have absolutely no idea what I am doing with this.. or how to go about shading it. I've tried about a thousand times already, and I just cannot get it to look right.  I want to keep picking at it (maybe auction it off or something), but at the same time, I want to bury it into my folder of wips and never look at it again. Argh!
