So, I am with the help of a club artist (lionlion111 - #21740) working on a new Custom Decor. This came to me lying in bed one night and I knew I had to get it made. Basically, when our pride leaders pass we have nothing to remember them by. Well we art art, clubs etc but I thought I wanted something a little more...personal. That's when I decided to start working on the idea for a cloud decor in the shape of a male lion. That's right! Just like when Musafa appeared to Simba in the clouds to give him guidance. I plan on creating clouds of our male lions passed to place on their young to remember them. Right now we're still in the early stages. This decor will have no personalized markings however we are working to get the decor to fit all ages. We MAY also make the males appear with different mane styles although that's not certain yet. Thanks guys ^_^ I've also now updated the sponsors section with questions as to how much you guys would pay for the final finished piece, based currently off how it is and also what you feel would be an acceptable minimum donate to get one of these? 0 players like this post! Like? |

How much should I ask people donate as a minimum to receive a copy as a sponsor? I would say around 600 SBs? Maybe more than that? How much should I sell this for? (What would you pay for the decor?) I would pay around 7-10 GBs for this :) (possibly more if I REALLY like the final outcome!) 0 players like this post! Like? |

How much should I ask people donate as a minimum to receive a copy as a sponsor? 600 to 1GB - if they are feeling generous! How much should I sell this for? (What would you pay for the decor?) Pricing, in this economy, is very difficult. What is too much? What is too little? Personally, to gain more interest and also have more people able to obtain this decor, I would say 3 GB to 5 GB 0 players like this post! Like? |

1) Yes, definitely. I tried an 80% or 90%, so I'll lower it to something like 60%. 2) Yes. I wasn't sure whether actual size or a smaller version would work. 3) There will be version for lionesses, cubs and adols. However, all that will change is the position of the male lion, not the actual drawing! 0 players like this post! Like? |

Hey guys! I just wanted to let you know that from experience as it is now, it's -very- unlikely that Xylax and the mod team will accept it as a custom decor. It's a very nice drawing, but the style doesn't match Lioden well enough to blend in. There are a few anatomy issues and the lines are a bit too thick in some places, while the detail in other areas is almost invisible. If you'd like to know more about how to make it get accepted, I'd send a PM to Xylax with the .png file and ask him to critique it. (Be warned, it will be a true critique, so he won't hold back on things that may be keeping it from acceptance! He's not trying to be mean, he just wants to be as through as possible. ^_^ ) I'd be happy to offer my own suggestions as well, but I'll leave that to your digression. 0 players like this post!
