Basic Customization Kit

This would be a tool aimed at newbies and extremely casual players.


Now, when I first Joined Lioden and rolled my lion, I was mostly pleased with his looks. I just wanted to alter maybe a few things on him. maybe change it to dark golden. Which is a wild color of course. However, I was rather disappointed that even if I just want to change the color of my lion to another wild color –something that wont sell anyway- I still have to pay that 10GB…
This was when my idea popped into my head.

Why not have a very basic customization kit for SB?

But we already have a customization option in the Oasis!
I am well aware of that, however, don’t you think that asking for 10 GB in exchange of another color or marking that is wild and not sought after, simply wont sell anyway, and can find it on NCLs… is rather too much?

What would be the difference between the basic and the Oasis customization tools?
Simple. While the Oasis type lets you have any base, mane, and eye color you want, any mane type you want and lists every single marking to customize with….. The basic one would only contain the wild colors, mane types, eyes and markings. There would be also a nice difference in the marking slots as well.

Why would it be good?
As a free game, I think Lioden should offer a weaker version of some of its GB items for SB. Of course, for a price. Just like how they put in the Bone Marrow, the weaker version of the Energy Boost item. This would give an alternative to those who simply cannot have GB, and those who simply just want another wild look for their male, nothing too fancy. New members also get a chance to collect for something that is not GB. Plus, wild colors and markings don’t sell, they wont create any advantage for you, neither does it enable studding or profit. And it wont make your lion so extra pretty either, basically it is like a reroll, just you choose what your lion should look like, and so costs more than a reroll.

And what would it cost?
I was thinking about 2000 - 3000SB. Seems to be lower than most customization tools but high enough to make people collect some SB.

So, how would this Basic Customization Kit work?
In the basic looks, it would be the same as the Oasis tool, showing you the preview of how your lion looks like once you chose the options. However, there would be a lot of differences.
As the name says, it is a very basic tool. Only offers the colors, mane types and markings that you can find on wild NCLs too. Customs and specials simply wont appear here.
There would be also a greater limit on marking slots. Only 5 markings could be applied.
