So, looking at the leaderboards, I've noticed that some of the highest level kings still do not have access to several explore areas. Even the one or two kings who can access all the areas can typically only do so for a few days before they die.

Since I would like to be able to unlock all the areas before the king dies, I suggest that the levels for each area be lowered, so you need to be maybe between levels 15 and 25 to get to the waterhole.

Ideas? Critique?

Possible Alternatives:

Have NPCs give more experience on higher levels. (Suggested by Koga, #37687)

Lower amount of experience needed on higher levels. (Suggested by Orangel, #8777)

Reasons For:
- Zones are all pretty much the same anyway.
- Will give more incententive to level. (Suggested by Bandit The Bengal, #8330)
- Explore doesn't give enough experience. (Suggested by Everest, #14433)
- It should be the game's natural progression to unlock all areas. (Suggested by Dam, #7325)
- Zones should be possible to unlock with all play styles. (Suggested by me)

Reasons Against:
- Hard work should be rewarded with higher levels. (Suggested by Toli, #25210)
- The levels are all the same anyway (Suggested by Historia Reiss, #36949)
- It's not actually that hard to get all the zones (Suggested by Kamil, #18219)
- Just because something's hard, that doesn't mean we should make it easier.
- It gives players a goal to work towards (AristaLight, #31020)

I like that idea, though maybe the waterhole should be a little higher. In my eyes, it shouldn't be something that's easy to get to, since it's the last area and all, and something about it... just seems SPECIAL. Y'know?

Otherwise, yes. I would like to be able to level up faster, as I explore every day and fight and get as much EXP as I can and still...
...oh look, I still have to get ANOTHER level for the next area.
So a little bit lower would be good.

however, everything in explore is all the same so the work involved is greater than the actual reward of reaching the waterhole. i agree, but if anything i think leveling should be easier or make the areas actually worth getting into.

I agree, specially since leveling seems to be harder now with the new battle system. Plus, there is no point on being so hard to get to them when there is no 'reward' whatsoever besides personal accomplishment, and should be the game's natural progression to just unlock all the areas.

@Axel - I know, I'm sorry about that. I'm just used to rules against dragging up dead topics. and such and expected LioDen to have the same rules buried in there somewhere when I made this thread.
Either way, this topic has been made and has more supports and replies now, so it doesn't make sense to backtrack...
I'll keep that in mind next time, though. ^^

Yes, I very much support this. The last few zones are basicly leaderboard perks and that seems silly to me. We should all be able to unlock all zones within a reasonable amount of time especially because they're more or less all the same.

So it should either be easier to level or the zones shouldn't need that high levels to unlock.

I think it should be lowered to the number of stats a lion has. It's kinda unfair to have it at a certain level.

Support 100%! It's very difficult to level up lions once they get past a certain point (ex. Dreamboat) in their status. Gaining paltry experience percentages per full explore makes it VERY difficult for those of us who cannot be on Lioden 24/7. The other option, which I hint at above would be to give more experience/percentage points per battle like when lions are just starting out. Not as many as that, but I'm using that as an example. This would also allow lions to level up a little quicker. I've been in this game for a while now and I've only seen 4 zones in explore. When my lion reached that 4th zone, he died before gaining enough experience to go any further and I had to start all over again.

Instead of lowering the explore levels, I think NPC characters should give out more EXP each time you level up. It's ridiculous to have to gain 39710 EXP when NPCs are only giving out only 180 to 280. If the EXP handout was higher, we wouldn't need to lower the levels.
