hmmm

id choose #4 if it was that the same number (or around the same number) of males and females got powers, but everyone else either died, or couldnt keep the powers :) so the pack would be small because so many died, and the ones that survived either lost their powers or came out as powerful wolves WITH powers. And then if a male and female got together, and they both had powers, maybe the pups could obtain their powers, like a genetics thing. Like one of the parent's powers was passed down, or in rare cases, the pup obtained BOTH of the parent's powers. or if only one parent had powers, there was a small chance one of the pups could get a power, but since one of the parents didnt have a power, a new power would be introduced to the offspring/there was a chance a new power could be introduced.

(this is where i explain what that last little bit meant/it gets a little confusing) lets say the parent without the power had either a parent/grandparent that had obtained a power, and either didnt keep it, or didnt pass it down to the pup (the parent) - thats where new powers developed, because the wolf that didnt have powers either had the genetics and genes for a different set of powers, or their predecessors had a power, etc

be aware, one day i may make a wolves with powers rpg, mainly because my rpgs have been dying lately so im open for a lot of rpgs + i have experience running wolves with powers rpgs and being in wolves with powers rpgs :P

anyway, i already have some wolves in mind for powers, new and old rpg characters that i havent rpged in like a year XD anyway, you get what i mean. I may end up using my own ideas with that genetics thing, ive always thought about that but never actually put it into action

Ok im going to make an example or a situation that the genetics could be because i realize that it is a bit confusing...

grandfather had the power to fly. He had wings. he became mates with a female that had no powers and did not have any ancestors with powers. Completely regular wolf. BUT if she was to somehow obtain powers, her genetics would give her the power of telekinesis.

They have a litter of pups, 3 of them. One of them has the power to fly. The other two have a mix of flying genes and telekinesis genes, because the female passed down her genes of telekinesis, but the pups didnt have the powers. If the genes mutated, their offspring and their offspring's offspring might obtain telekinesis.

Those pups grow up, and the pup with the power of flight becomes mates with another wolf that has the power of super strength. Their pups could have 1. flight 2. super strength 3. if their telekinesis genes mutate, they could become telekinetic 4. flight, strength, and/or telekinesis - a mix of two or more powers 5. no powers but the genes.

The other pups, with no power, become mates with regular wolves. Their pups could have 1. no powers, thatd be the most chance, like 70% of the pups would have no powers 2. inactive power genes mutate and the pups get the powers of either parent's genes/ancestral powers.

do you guys get that explanation a little bit? understand what i mean at least a little more? ^_^ my mind is kind of logically based so it gets confusing when i dont know how to explain things, because my mind is also crazy XD

ive only learned latin through some translator stuff :L my middle school nor my high school nor any school ive ever come across offers latin, so it makes me saddddd :( i know lots of words...ish...mainly animals and a few plants and english words derived from latin, latin roots, etc that sort of thing, but i have no idea for actual latin. you cant trust any where online/google translator to be totally honest :(

*sigh* my high school considers latin a waste of time to learn because it is a "dead language" just because no country speaks it as of now as its major language :( its like "gahhhhh!!!" :( i love my school and yet hate it at the same time, and now im transferring come tuesday i start a new school. Im dying inside .-.
