Lakeview Corrections Camp - or LCC - is the outcome of a dream a women had of a facility for people who have created minor crimes, or those who were headed down a slippery slope that were sent here by family and friends as a means to help them get on the right track, as a means to try and keep them out of prisons. She believed that hard work, mixed with small amounts of freedoms and luxuries, would work better with some people than the hard, cold walls of a jail cell. Show them coldness and hate, and that is what they shay learn. But show them compassion, love, strength and hope, then you can give a person a whole new life.

Lakeview was set up like a camp in the mountains, the main cabin where the staff stayed held the community kitchen, dining hall, laundry facility, games room, gym, a small medical clinic and a large TV room that doubled as a decently stocked library. The cabin overlooked the lake that was just bellow the camp, it had a beach and a small boat launch with three boats. Only the staff were allowed to use vehicles of any type. There was a garage that was under lock and key, guarded by camers and alarms, that houses the jeeps, side by sides and quads that were accessible only by the staff. The boats were chained to the docks with padlocks when not in use, and also had cameras watching them 24/7.

There were horse stables as well, with outdoor pens for the horses, a heated indoor riding arena as well as a large outdoor arena. The staff took the inmates on trail rides, and the inmates, or as they were better known the 'admitted', were aloud to take the horses to the beach; with an escort of course.

The admitted did all the work; cooking, cleaning, taking care of the horses, tending the gardens, chopping firewood, any minor repairs, pretty much everything that didn't require hiring someone like plumbing and electrical work. The staff supervised them and made sure everyone did as they were told. There were punishments for not doing as you were told, working extra hours, doing extra jobs, cut off from the monthly phone call home, any fun activities. The staff were fairly creative with it. But there were also rewards, a day or two off work, an extra shower, a night spent in the main cabin and even a few extra phone calls a month.

There were cabins for the admitted to stay, more like bunk houses since it was only beds and places to keep their clothing. They were separated into men's and women's cabins, each cabin holing four people. There were communal bathrooms as well as a shower house, one for men one for women again. Each shower was in its own stall with a locking door, staff had keys to all these doors. There were 4 stalls per building and the admitted got one shower a day, they could choose the time.

There were uniforms for the guards, forest green, while the admitted wore white t-shirts, jeans and black runners. The whole camp was surrounded by a big fence with a gate that was opened electronically from inside the control and surveillance room using a code that all officers were required to memorize.
