Have you ever heard of lionesses getting injured while hunting? Or have you seen the images with the gashes and woulds from an animal they tried to bring down? I would show you an image, but it's kinda gory and I'm unsure how ya'll would feel about such an image.

Anyway, I have heard and seen of such events. So here is my idea for the game! What about have a low chance (somewhere between a 1 to 5 percent change) of our huntress getting wounds while hunting. Due to the injuring, they could get a scar similar to the fashion when our kings spar with our subordinate males.

Lower leveled lioness could also have a higher chance of getting a scar than that of higher leveled ones. Adult mutations that may affect game play could also have a higher or lower chance of getting a scar applied to their profile picture.

The chance could also get higher depending on the prey found in certain area. Such as the more larger prey found in the area, the higher the chance of the lioness gaining a scar.

To know your lionesses has become injured on her hunt, the game could send you a message similar to that of the cub accidents and deaths. The automatic message could be entitled “Injured Lioness” or something along those lines.

Edits
   -   August 21, 2015 Added the stat/level chance (from here)
   -   October 9, 2015 Lowered chance of gaining level from 1 to 10 percent to current (from here)
   -   July 8, 2016 Change the idea of stats giving a higher chance (from here). They made me realize that not everyone is a stat breeder and this is why this has changed to being level only.
   -   July 9, 2016 Your lioness could have a higher chance when hunting a human villages (from here)

Have any input? Such as why you like it or don't? Or what you would change? Please let me know in the comments below!

EDIT 3 (June 15th, 2017): It's been over two years now and I still haven't really revised this fully. A full revision of this idea will be done fairly soon (I promise CX).
EDIT 2 (November 14th): This post needs revised again. I will be putting screenshots of examples of the messages the game can send you with even more ideas. This will be done fairly soon.
EDIT: This post has finally been revised after nearly a year of it's posting! Though I think the idea sounds much better than the original post from last year!

@Espeon (Grace) and Meep: Thanks for the support!

@Meep: I also have thought about lionesses dying on hunts, but decided not to add it due to the fact that many people might not like the idea.

@Elu Niabi Understandable, actually. I realize people might hate losing a well marked lioness to such a random event, but I figured there could be a "death cooldown" implemented that would give the player 20 days to pay 100 sb to have the lioness brought back to life. It could add roleplay elements to lioden's sim gameplay, and perhaps get rid of lionesses players don't like or wouldn't mind losing in interesting ways. (providing the Pride Dynasty shows the cause of death)

@Meep: That is actually a great idea. The only thing I don't like about it is the fact we would have to pay for getting the lioness back. I think that a "death cooldown" means that we can not use the lionesses in hunting or breeding until the cooldown is complete.

@Elu Niabi I see what you mean about the payment. Also, I believe simply preventing the lionesses from taking part in pride activities doesn't demonstrate the "permanence" of the death. When you say at the end of the cooldown do you mean she returns to the pride or is she removed and placed in the pride dynasty? (providing the player doesn't bring her back during the period) Maybe if the required payment was removed to bring the lioness back to life it would be less dictative. I can see that the simple option to giving the lioness a chance to live again after her death during the course of a twenty day period would be enough of an implement. It should also be noted that this function would serve best for roleplaying purposes.

@Meep: The lionesses could return to the pride after the death cooldown...as long as you have the space to get her back. You could also be warned when she is going to come back. If you do not have room for her upon the end of the cooldown...she could be added to the pride dynasty.

And this is a great idea! But I might not add this to my post. I suggest making your own post with all the information that me and you have including in our explanations about it in that post. But I do like the idea. If you don't add it, I'll keep it in mind to add it and give you full credit for it! (If you make a post, you do not have to give me credit since this was originally or idea!)

@Ivy: Actually...no. I have heard they affect our gameplay, but nothing more. I really haven't seen or had either of the mutes, so I wouldn't know. Thanks for letting me know, and I will fix it when I have time to do so! CX

Welp
My pride is screwed
They all have 100 something stats

Not everyone's a stat breeder ya know

:T

Does this mean it actually effects the game temporarily or is it Just used to gain scar decor?

@ClockKey: I understand that. I'm not a real big stat breeder. But, it was just a suggestion! CX I still have to revise it anyway and I'll take this into account.

This is a great idea. I'm thinking that lionesses are more likely to be injured while hunting at villages

Defo no support for lionesses dying, I mean could you imagine blowing tons of GB on marks and studs for the perfect result for it all to be taken away?

The main post looks fun though if I'm reading it right. :3 ((Which seems to be like sub-male sparing chance to get scars basically for our hunt ladies.))

Chaos: This was just an idea me and Meep had a while ago. I don't like the idea of our lionesses dying so I am not adding it into the post. I told Meep that he/she could make their own thread if they wanted too, though I do not plan on making one myself as I know many people would not support it as much as something like this. And yes, it is very similar to that of sparring with sub males and the chance of getting a scar.

It defo looks like fun though, the poor kitties.
