New layout!This wonderful new layout is a step into more friendly interface for PC users, iPad and mobile users! Everything is very flexible, the colours are less brown-boring now. The new layout is intended to be a lot more mobile friendly - there are some areas we're aware of that are buggy, but they should hopefully be fixed in a few days. Yay for mobile! We hope that before you state "I hate this" you browse for a few days and see if you actually enjoy the changes! Every change is affecting your daily routine so obviously it's gonna be different for a while. We believe this layout is easier on gameplay, colours vibrant and positive and the background is very exciting! EVENT now has its own separate tab, and FAQ next to it is something I have prepared for new users or common questions - if you think of any common question please PM me, I will be editing the FAQ few days a week. If you notice any issue with new layout please report to This Thread Remember that your personal Den .css coding is not going to be working in new layout, you need to edit it :x  SYC boardsWe are taking off Sharpen Your Claws forums temporarily due to neverending arguing. We have noticed there's a trend of people reposting same controversial topics worded in a very specific manner just to get more fights between players. We want to see how Lioden's community will act without the venting boards, without the aggression. If you want to share stuff about your friend's death, that would belong to 18+ forums, if you want to complain about your lions being lazy and not bringing food, Free-For-All would be great, etc. But some topics will now stay off Lioden and we want to keep it that way for a while. I can't see the chat box on my phone browser now. :/ Considering that's how I interact with most of the site that's pretty limiting. Also the text boxes for writing posts are way too small, I can hardly read what I'm writing. This will be difficult for people with sight issues. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Well, art wise the new layout looks nice and pretty, but sadly it's too bright for my eyes as I have very sensitive eyes. Actually got a really annoying headache and hurting eyes from the brightness, even if I was only playing for about 15 minutes since the update. So would be nice, if there would be a darker version in the future or the chance to chose between the old and the new layout ( if that would be possible as I had hardly any eye problems with the old one and its colors/brightness ^^ ) But still thanks for all the hard work and the Update! ^__^ 0 players like this post! The new layouts lovely! Sure, there are a few places here and there that need a bit of touch ups, but over all, the looks are good and some parts of the site are a lot easier to navigate than before. Monkey business is a bit easier to navigate as well, and some of the other shops. I also like how everything's a bit more... spread out! Not a lot of distracting space. Huh. Not sure how I feel about this yet, but we'll see how it goes :3 Edit: Okay, wow, it's amazing on my phone. Huge improvement! Pretty thrilled with that aspect, and lots of kudos to the LD. team for that effort! However, I'm not sold on the desktop version. It feels very huge and too open with all the borders removed, which results in a cluttered feeling. There are also a lot of colors, which are fine in and of themselves but are a bit overstimulating when mixed with the large and soft/rounded layout that's going on. I also feel like everything is very off-center and unbalanced on the desktop version, while the mobile appears very balanced and streamlined. 0 players like this post! I really love this layout. The colors contrast way better together than the "dusty" feel of the old one. My only real dislikes about it is the fact its really bright (not that the other one wasn't bright too) and it feels really.. zoomed in, I suppose. I feel like I can't see as much of the page as I formally could and almost feel like zooming it out on my computer but I suppose that's just another think that I'll have to get use to. The yellow sidebar really, really hurts my eyes. It's making it really hard for me to read the chat and navigate around the site. The actually layout is nice, but I really, really appreciate a color swap to something darker. The orange buttons are jarring as well. 0 players like this post! Like? |

I do like the new layout, but I feel like it really only works well for mobile users. On my laptop, a PC, it's really too bright for my eyes, not to mention it feels huge. Like I zoomed in too far. Which honestly just makes me want to zoom out to get away from it. I don't know. I'll give it a few days before I decide whether I can truly use it or not, but I do think that it would be awesome if there was an option to change back to the old layout. I was going to ask where my bookmarks all went, but I tried zooming out a bit and there they are on right side of page as always. Initially way too zoomed in - hurt my eyes and couldn't see anything on the right side so thought it was all gone. A bit better now.
