Misha/ 1yr. 8 m./ Mudi Dog The stale, moldy bread on her tongue was disgusting, but it was filling her belly with a sustenance she hadn't had in a long time. The small, curly-furred dog snapped up what was left of the bread and licked her lips, glancing around the room she'd found herself in. She turned around, half-full, and started sniffing around the room. When she found an unopened can that smelt of meat, the dog started whining, clawing and tearing at the can with her teeth. After a few minutes, the top popped and Misha found herself lapping up a sweet-tasting juice from the concrete beneath her, the can not fully opened. Hazza/ 3 yrs. 10 m./ Doberman Soft paw steps awoke the Doberman from his fitful nap, and the lithe dog was on his worn paws before he was processing what he was hearing. His clipped ears perked and he listened silently for a few moments. At the sound of a dog speaking quietly to himself, the Doberman bared his teeth and pressed himself back against the wall behind him to stay covered behind the dumpster. The brute froze when another Doberman, this one white, stepped into view. As the other dog advanced, probably searching for food, Hazza's lips rose further and a threatening, deep growl left his throat. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Nyphadora She scrounged around an abandoned hotel, she was in the kitchen, pawing at the refrigerator where she smelled something that might have been edible. She and her Sister Zara had been there for a long while, having exhausted every other food source inside that hotel. When she finally got the refrigerator open, she found only a couple of pieces of bread, a carrot, and a half rotten piece of hot dog. Her cropped ears fell a little, that was it? All of that work for that?? She sighed. Zara She watched her sister with hungry eyes, her ribs were showing, but not as much as her sister's. She watched as her sister pushed the non-rotten side of the hot dog her way, along with all of the bread. She looked at her sister, her uncropped ears fell. "Ny, you should eat more" but her sister shook her head and began eating her pieces. She sighed, she was tired of stale bread and rotten food, but it was all that she ever knew. Ace The shiba let out a growl of frustration before standing up on his hind legs to knock over another can of trash. The loud rattling echoed through the small space making even Ace jump slightly form the ruckus he was making. The brute stopped though once a familiar sound caught his attention. Ears stood erect on the male's head as a believed yelp caught his attention but he shrugged it off and continued his diving. This was the last can in the alley so hopefully there would be scraps left in this one. When his searches came to no avail, the small dog let out a huff and padded his way out into the light. The beating Sun was hard on the brute's black pelt but he'd began to grown use to it. The constant search had made him exhausted and weak so, at the moment he was running on pure will. He'd have to find some water soon and hopefully a place to rest but that was unlikely. With just as needy bigger creatures roaming around these streets, it was hard to find someplace that wasn't already taken or being fought for. 0 players like this post! Like? |

He jumped up on the back of the large spongy object (couch), which was now torn from him climbing onto it to look out the window the past few days. He rested his head on his front legs. Everything outside was just as motionless as it was inside this house, just as it had been for the past couple of days. Kelli wanted desperately to go outside, to chase the blowing garbage and just play and be a puppy. The last he had saw his masters was when they left in a strange noise making contraption (car). His food and water were running low in his bowls. He closed his eyes and dreamed of playing tug of war with his masters and plying. Kelli's ears flipped forward as he caught sight of what appeared to be movement other then blowing garbage. He wagged his tail, hopping his masters had returned. Nyphadora She watched her younger sister eat the rest of the food and shook herself, she was strong but she was also running herself ragged from giving most of the food she found to her sister to keep her healthy. She looked around them before they left the hotel, she kept her nose low to the ground to search for food. But as soon as she stepped outside, she was slammed into and knocked a couple feet away, the impact stunned her. She shook her head "Zara!" she yelled, intending to tell her to run inside and hide but was cut off when a large dog jumped on her. Zara "Ny!" she cried, she was very surprised when she saw a slight shadow just before a large dog slammed into her sister. The pup rushed forward, she would not be weak this time, she would help her sister! Zara bit the dogs ankle hard, and clung to him. 0 players like this post! Like? |

Cayenne Cayenne was approaching the edge of the forest, she was sad to leave, but was curious about what was in the abandoned city. She quickly caught and ate a large squirrel, knowing she might not find any food for quite a while, and with that, she set off into the city, the concrete hot on her tough pads. Kelli| Male | Puppy (10 months) | Jagdterrier Kelli was growing more restless. He jumped down from the couch arm with a 'THUD' and skidded across the hardwood floor to the front door. He stopped for a moment, distracted by his basket of toys. He crouched down and pounced on them growling playfully but soon realized what his mission was. Kelli got up and ran to the front door scratching and whining. The door slowly opened and Kelli nosed the door way open and looked outside. His masters never locked their front door. He sniffed the cool breeze for a second before bounding off and chasing a blowing piece of newspaper in the wind. He sat down and tilted his head in the direction he heard the short howl. He tried to mimic the sound back. He sat there panting with his pink tongue listening again. Kelli| Male | Puppy (10 months) | Jagdterrier Thinking like most small dogs that he was bigger then he is, he stood his ground as the much larger dog ran up. Kelli looked up suddenly surprised as the other dog bowed down to his eye level. Kelli sniffed causously the big black nose, never encountering another dog he didn't know before. But seeing the other dog's tail wagging, Keli bowed down imitating Uvvi and growled and wagged his tail playfully and bounced from side to side. Kelli bounced so much in happiness in seeing a potential play mate he forgot himself and rolled on the ground stopping on his back by the paws of another larger dog.
